    • Resting against southpaw
Kepler is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Kepler will be joined on the bench by fellow left-handed hitter Trevor Larnach as the Twins add a pair of right-handed bats (Manuel Margot and Kyle Farmer) to the lineup to counter Diamondbacks southpaw Jordan Montgomery. Expect Kepler to rejoin the starting nine for the Twins' series opener in Seattle on Friday, when right-hander Logan Gilbert is scheduled to take the hill for the Mariners. • Swipes two bags
Lowe went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and two stolen bases Tuesday against Seattle.

Advice: Lowe has started to heat up at the plate, as he's gone 11-for-30 with three homers, seven RBI and six runs scored across his last eight games. He's also displayed a penchant for steals, swiping three bags across his last three starts. Though Lowe had an injured-plagued first half of the season, he may be ready to deliver on lofty preseason expectations in the final months of the campaign. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:08 pm

    • Back in starting nine
Kepler (neck) will start in right field and bat cleanup in Tuesday's game in Arizona.

Advice: Kepler missed three starts while battling neck spasms, but he's ready to give it a go following Monday's team off day. The veteran outfielder comes into action Tuesday with just a .548 OPS in June, although he has homered twice in his previous five contests. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:02 pm
    • Max Kepler returns to lineup Tuesday vs. D-backs
Max Kepler (neck) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Kepler is back in right field and batting cleanup on Tuesday night out at Chase Field in Arizona following a three-game absence due to neck spasms. The 31-year-old corner outfielder holds a pedestrian .733 OPS with six homers and one steal in 207 plate appearances over 55 games this season. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:56 pm
    • Robert Jr. has double, two walks in loss Monday
Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks against the Dodgers on Monday.

Advice: Robert Jr. only has 91 at-bats this season, but he’s hitting .198 with a 35 percent strikeout percentage. For one of the most talked about potential trade pieces in baseball, he’s really had a rough season. Robert Jr.'s BABIP is only .217, which is well below his career .328 BABIP, but he still needs to cut his strikeouts. Maybe the two walks show that he’s seeing it better at the plate and he can start to turn his season around with a little more than a month before the trade deadline. • Productive trip to Pittsburgh
Lowe went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Lowe blasted two home runs Friday and ended the Rays' series in Pittsburgh 6-for-11 with three runs scored, five RBI and a stolen base. After an injury-filled start to the season, Lowe has started to come around at the plate by tallying three multi-hit performances in his last six starts. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:52 am

    • Sitting out third straight
Kepler (neck) isn't in the Twins' lineup for Sunday's game against Oakland.

Advice: Neck spasms will cause Kepler to miss his third game in a row Sunday, though he still doesn't seem to be trending toward a trip to the injured list. Manuel Margot will pick up another start in right field and bat leadoff. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:25 am
    • Back in lineup Sunday
Rodriguez is starting in center field and batting third in Sunday's game against Miami.

Advice: Rodriguez received a scheduled day off Saturday, but he's back for the series finale Sunday. On the season, he's batting .264/.313/.352 with seven home runs and 29 RBI over 329 plate appearances while stealing 16 bases. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:32 am
    • Max Kepler out third straight game with neck issue
Max Kepler (neck) remains out of the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Athletics.

Advice: Kepler will sit out his third straight contest on Sunday afternoon due to an ongoing neck issue. There’s been zero indication that he’ll wind up requiring a trip to the injured list, but we’re not willing to rule it out. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:54 am
