      Advice: It’s the third straight game that the 30-year-old slugger has missed due to the knee issue. There haven’t been any indications yet that the injury will require a trip to the injured list, but if it lingers through the weekend the Reds may be forced to make a move.       Advice: The injury isn’t believed to be serious, and sounds like something the 30-year-old slugger has been dealing with for a while. He’s considered day-to-day. However, the team doesn't seem to have any plans at this time to put Candelario on the 10-day injured list. The veteran offseason addition has impressively knocked 22 of his 39 hits for extra bases, yet the second-highest strikeout rate of his career (30.0 percent) and a .215 BABIP have conspired to generate an anemic .176 average across his first 68 games in Seattle.
