    • Picks up 14th steal
Henderson went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Henderson has usually made an impact with power, but he flashed his speed Friday. He stole third base and scored on an error following his leadoff single in the first inning. The shortstop is 16-for-46 (.348) over his last 11 games, lifting his season slash line to .288/.379/.599 through 87 contests. He's added 27 home runs, 14 steals, 60 RBI, 76 runs scored, 18 doubles and four triples. Rotowire.com 51 minutes ago

    • Three hits in loss
Gimenez went 3-for-3 with one RBI in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Giants.

Advice: Gimenez's RBI came on a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, which was the last run of the game. The second baseman has found some consistency at the plate, going 10-for-31 (.323) over his last eight games, but he has just two extra-base hits in that span. For the year, he's at a .252/.307/.344 slash line with five homers, 14 stolen bases, 41 RBI, 42 runs scored, 12 doubles and one triple over 80 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 10:26 am

    • David Bednar (oblique) faces hitters on Saturday
David Bednar (oblique) faced hitters on Saturday in a 20-pitch live batting practice session.

Advice: Bednar resumed playing catch earlier this week and continues to progress towards a return to Pittsburgh’s bullpen after hitting the injured list back in late June with a left oblique strain. There isn’t an official return timetable yet, but it seems possible he could head out on a minor league rehab assignment soon and return in a couple week after the All-Star break, barring any setbacks. • Clubs 22nd homer
Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's loss to the Phillies.

Advice: The veteran slugger got hold of a 98.4 mph two-seamer from Jose Alvarado in the eighth inning, driving it 409 feet over the fence in right field. Ozuna snapped an 11-game homer drought with the blast -- tied for his longest dry spell of the year -- and while he has slowed down after a blistering start to the season, he's still slashing .296/.377/.560 through 86 contests with 22 homers and 70 RBI, with the latter mark tying him for the NL lead with Alec Bohm. • Strikes out 10 in loss
Gausman (6-8) allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out 10 over six innings to take the loss Friday versus the Mariners.

Advice: Gausman allowed a two-run double to Luke Raley in the third inning, and that was enough to stick him with his fourth loss in five outings. This was his third 10-strikeout game of the year, as well as his third quality start over his last seven games. He's at a 4.64 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 101:27 K:BB through 97 innings over 18 starts overall. Gausman's next start is projected to be on the road in San Francisco. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:19 pm

    • Kevin Gausman fans 10 in loss to Blue Jays
Kevin Gausman struck out 10 over six innings of two-run baseball, but took a look Friday to the Mariners.

Advice: Gausman had the swing-and-miss stuff going and took advantage of a lineup that strikes out more than anyone in baseball. The right-hander allowed only a two-run double to Luke Raley in the contest, but unfortunately that was enough to pick up the loss with Luis Castillo holdin the Blue Jays to just one run. It’s still nice to see a strong outing from Gausman considering how mediocre he’s been for the majority of 2024, as his ERA is still a disappointing 4.64 on the campaign. • Allows five runs in no-decision
Gray did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 win against the Nationals, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk with six strikeouts over five innings.

Advice: Gray allowed a total of five runs over the first three innings and departed after five frames with a 5-3 deficit. He surrendered eight hard hits and now carries a 5.09 ERA in road starts compared to a 1.90 mark at home . On the season, the 34-year-old owns a 3.30 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 115:24 K:BB over 92.2 innings. He lines up for a home matchup against the Royals next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:08 pm

    • Escapes with save
Doval allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning Friday, striking out one and earning a save over Cleveland.

Advice: Doval put the first two batters of the inning on base but escaped the jam to close out the 4-2 win. It was his third straight save conversion, and he's now 17 for 20 in opportunities this season. Doval has not looked like his usual self, however, as his current ERA and WHIP of 4.04 and 1.54, respectively, are both career highs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:58 pm
    • Trea Turner smacks two homers in win over Braves
Trea Turner went 2-for-5 with two two-run home runs in an 8-6 win over the Braves on Friday.

Advice: Good things have come in pairs for Turner who’s two two-run shots off Max Fried gave the Phillies a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. This was also the second time in four games Turner hit two long balls and his fourth multi-hit game in five contests. Deuces are officially wild for Turner. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:50 pm
