• Bregman has four hits, two 2Bs in win
Alex Bregman went 4-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in an 8-1 win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Bregman had two doubles and two singles on the day but also came away with zero RBI. Still, the consistent contact is nice to see, and the veteran is now 28-for-77 in 19 games in June for a .364 batting average. That’ll most certainly play considering he’s on pace for yet another 20-plus home run season. Rotoworld Jun 23, 2:51 pm

  • Sitting Sunday
Malloy is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the White Sox.

Advice: Malloy will take a breather Sunday after starting in the first two games of the series, going 1-for-6 with a double and one run scored. Riley Greene will serve as the designated hitter Sunday while Akil Baddoo starts in left field against White Sox right-hander Jonathan Cannon. Rotowire.com Jun 23, 9:26 am
  • Another multi-hit performance
McMahon went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's win over the Nationals while also drawing a walk.

Advice: McMahon continued his offensive surge Saturday, tallying hits in each of his first two trips to the plate before adding a solo home run in the eighth to bring Colorado back within one run of the Nationals. It marked the third baseman's seventh multi-hit performance in his last 10 games, and he's now homered in two of his last three. Over the former stretch he's batting .476 (17-for-42) with four homers, eight RBI and 11 runs scored. Rotowire.com Jun 23, 7:43 am

  • Back at third base for now
Smith started at third base and went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-0 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Smith made a second consecutive start in the field after serving as a designated hitter for a pair of games. He had been dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss four games before returning as the DH. Now that he's back in the field, the question becomes how long he will be there. Third baseman Josh Jung (wrist) rejoined the team Friday and will take live batting practice Tuesday. If all goes well, Jung could be activated off the 60-day injured list afterward. The Rangers would like to keep Smith's bat in the lineup; he's batting .304/.393/.469 over a career-high 259 plate appearances. The lefty hitter could serve as the primary DH; he owns an .857 OPS against lefties and an .863 OPS against righties this season. Rotowire.com Jun 23, 4:36 am
  • Ryan McMahon leads Rockies to victory over Nats
Ryan McMahon went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a pair of RBI on Saturday, lifting the Rockies to an 8-7 walk-off victory over the Nationals.

Advice: McMahon was at the dish for the conclusion of an instant back-and-forth Coors Field classic which ended in truly bizarre fashion when Nationals reliever Kyle Finnegan committed a pitch clock violation that led to a bases-loaded free pass for McMahon and a walk-off victory for Colorado. The 29-year-old corner infield continued to build his All-Star Game case earlier in this contest by launching a solo homer in the eighth inning to cap off an impressive three-hit effort. He’s batting .280/.354/.486 with 14 homers, 42 RBI and one steal in 286 plate appearances over 75 games so far. Rotoworld Jun 23, 3:23 am

  • Busy day in loss
Chapman went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base in a 9-4 loss to the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Chapman singled, stole second and scored in the first inning, and then walked and scored again in the third. He later added another single in the eighth. This was Chapman's first multi-hit effort since June 4, but it's encouraging to see him active on the bases considering he missed two games to a hamstring injury June 9 and 10. On the season, the third baseman is hitting .232 with eight home runs, 30 RBI, 47 runs scored and a career-high six stolen bases in 285 at-bats. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 7:11 pm
  • Smith belts sixth home run in win Saturday
Josh Smith went 2-for-3 with a solo home run against the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Smith’s home run was his sixth of the year. He’s 15-for-37 (.405) with three home runs, eight RBI and a stolen base in his last 13 games. Smith has stood out on the Rangers offense and found his way to the No. 3 spot in the lineup. Given Texas’ other options, they’ll continue to find playing time for him as long as he’s producing like this. Rotoworld Jun 22, 3:46 pm
  • Getting breather
LeMahieu is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: After making six consecutive starts, LeMahieu will get the night off Saturday. Instead, Oswaldo Cabrera will play third and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 1:11 pm

  • Not starting Saturday
Paredes is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Paredes will get a rest Saturday after going 1-for-5 with two strikeouts in Friday's 10-3 win over Pittsburgh. Amed Rosario will start at third base and bat fifth against Pirates right-hander Jared Jones. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 12:51 pm
