Judge went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Angels.

Advice: Judge didn't have a great day at the plate overall, striking out four times for the second time this season. However, he was able to give the Yankees an early 2-1 lead with a two-run shot off Patrick Sandoval in the fourth, marking his 12th long ball this month. Five of those homers have come over Judge's last eight games and he's now batting .355 in May with 23 RBI and 26 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 6:34 am

    • Aaron Judge hits 275th career homer in victory
Aaron Judge hit a two-run homer to help the Yankees to an 8-3 win over the Angels on Thursday.

Advice: Judge’s two-run homer gave New York a 2-1 lead. The roundtripper was the 275th of his career, and it tied Jorge Posada for eighth all-time on the Yankees’ list. Judge has been spectacular in the month of May — and most of his career — and is up to 18 homers and 41 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:25 pm

    • Josh Hader fans two in non-save situation vs. M’s
Josh Hader struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday against the Mariners.

Advice: Hader got the call to protect a four-run advantage in a non-save situation and made things interesting by giving up singles to Julio Rodríguez and Ty France before striking out Dominic Canzone and getting Mitch Haniger to ground out to extinguish the threat. The 30-year-old lefty has allowed just two runs with a 20/4 K/BB ratio across 11 appearances since the start of May. Simply put, he remains one of the few elite closers in the fantasy landscape. • Matt Vierling will lead off for Tigers on Thursday
Matt Vierling is leading off and playing right field for the Tigers on Thursday.

Advice: Vierling continues to move around the field and hit in the top three spots in the lineup for the Tigers. The 27-year-old is hitting .312/.337/.610 in 22 games in May with five home runs and 21 RBI. He deserves to be picked up in most leagues while he’s hitting at the top of the lineup and swinging the bat this well. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:00 pm

    • Two hits, stolen base in loss
Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Alvarez recorded a base hit in the top of the fourth before coming around to score Houston's only run of the contest on an RBI single from Jake Meyers. The outfielder would add another single in his next at-bat, giving him back-to-back multi-hit games, while also going on to swipe a bag for the second game in a row. Alvarez has now posted 10 multi-hit games this month and has nine extra-base hits in the stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:22 am

    • Rosenthal: Luzardo “likely to be traded”
According to Ken Rosenthal, Jesús Luzardo “is the single player most likely to be traded” this season.

Advice: Luzardo was a popular name in trade rumors in the offseason but was ultimately not moved. He has two more arbitration years before he becomes a free agent, so the Marlins should be able to get a decent return for him. In a year where they are not contending, it makes sense to see what they could get for the lefty, especially with Sandy Alcantara, Max Meyer, Eury Perez, Edward Cabrera, Braxton Garrett, and Ryan Weathers all able to take on a full workload in the rotation next season. • Improves to 6-0 in May
Gil (7-1) picked up the win Wednesday over the Angels, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out nine over eight frames.

Advice: Gil continued his fantastic start to the campaign Wednesday, allowing just one hit over the first six innings before surrendering a solo home run to Logan O'Hoppe in the seventh. The right-hander produced 15 whiffs on the night while posting at least eight strikeouts for the third consecutive outing. Gil has now logged six quality starts in a row and improved to 6-0 in May after the win over Los Angeles. Over that stretch, he carries a ridiculous 0.70 ERA to go along with a 44:12 K:BB. Wednesday also marked his longest outing of the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:10 am

    • Luis Gil dominant again in win over Angels
Luis Gil held the Angels to one run with nine strikeouts over eight innings to earn the win on Wednesday.

Advice: Gil was outstanding once again, holding the Angels to one run over eight frames. He allowed just two hits and two walks, giving up a solo homer to Logan O’Hoppe in the seventh inning. He struck out nine. It was the fifth consecutive start for Gil with at least six innings and no more than one run allowed. The 25-year-old right-hander will take an excellent 1.99 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and a 79/31 K/BB ratio across 63 1/3 innings into a start against the Twins in New York on Tuesday. • Reaches 10-homer mark
Perez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an RBI double and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Twins.

Advice: Perez has hit safely in five straight games, going 6-for-21 (.286) in that span. The homer was his first since May 20 and his 10th of the year. He also crossed the 40-RBI mark Wednesday, getting him past halfway to matching his total of 80 RBI over 140 contests last year. The catcher is slashing .325/.386/.537 through 55 games in 2024.
