      Rangers placed OF Wyatt Langford on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

      Advice: The 22-year-old is hitting .224/.295/.293 in 129 plate appearances with one home run, 13 runs, 11 RBI, and one steal. He’s striking out only 22 percent of the time with a seven percent swinging strike rate so there isn’t any major glaring concern; however, the results simply haven’t been there. The team has said Langford could miss a month and there’s no guarantee that the Rangers will activate him immediately when he is healthy enough to play.       The Rangers placed Langford (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

      Merrill went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 11-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Merrill took Ryne Nelson deep to right center in the second to open up the scoring for the Padres and later notched a single off the bat at 102.4 mph. He's now tallied a hit in each of his last three games and has five RBI over that span after going on a mini slump to end the month of April. The 21-year-old rookie has put together some solid numbers at the plate early on, slashing .284/.333/.388 with two homers, 16 RBI, 16 runs, four steals and a 9:20 BB:K in 127 plate appearances.       Webb (3-3) took the loss Sunday against the Phillies, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out six over four innings.

      Advice: The Phillies scratched out a run versus Webb in the second before plating four more in the third, which was highlighted by Bryce Harper's three-run blast. Webb faced some more traffic in the fourth but ultimately got out of it unscathed with his day ending there after throwing 98 pitches. Following a dominant stretch of four consecutive outings allowing two runs or fewer and pitching at least seven innings, Webb has now given up four runs in back-to-back starts while failing to get more than 12 outs. The one positive note was that his six strikeouts set a season high.       Logan Webb wasn’t at his best in Sunday night’s loss to the Phillies, giving up five runs (four earned) on six hits in his four innings of work.

      Advice: The 27-year-old right-hander punched out six batters on the night while issuing a pair of walks. The Phillies scratched out a run against him in the second inning, then tacked on three more in the third including a two-run blast off the bat of Bryce Harper. Webb needed 98 pitches (59 strikes) to labor through 12 outs in this one, getting 10 swings and misses and posting a CSW of 26 percent.       Jackson Merrill went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: The rookie launched a 394-foot home run in the second inning and also had a 102.4 mph single later in the game. Merrill is more of a contact-oriented hitter, so the exit velocities are nice to see as we dream on his power upside. The 21-year-old is slashing .284/.333/.388 with two home runs and 16 RBI on the year.       Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a walk and a grand slam during Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Nationals.

      Advice: Guerrero's grand slam in the second inning off MacKenzie Gore was his fourth of the season and first in 22 games. It was also the first time he homered this season with men on base as he had collected just 11 RBI and hit just .231 coming into the contest. Despite the power outage, Guerrero is currently in the midst of an eight-game hitting streak, batting 11-for-32 (.344) with three doubles, a homer, five RBI and three runs scored during that stretch.       Soto went 1-for-4 with three RBI during Sunday's 5-2 win over the Tigers. He struck out twice.

      Advice: Soto had a rough go of it against Detroit starter Tarik Skubal, striking out twice against the tough lefty. However, Soto fared much better against southpaw reliever Andrew Chafin, clearing the bases with a seventh inning double to break a 2-2 tie and provide the winning runs for the Yankees. Soto's average stands at .316 with a .980 OPS, including eight homers, 28 RBI, 23 runs and four steals over 136 at-bats during his first season in the Bronx.
