      Advice: Walls recorded just his second multi-hit game in 12 starts this season, and the performance brought his average to .175 on the campaign.       Brett Wisely went 2-for-4 with a run scored from the leadoff spot in the Giants’ 5-1 defeat of the Cubs on Tuesday.

      Advice: Wisely’s second hit, a 403-foot double to left-center, would have been a homer in 29 of 30 ballparks and really a no-doubter in most of them. Oracle Park isn’t built that way, though.       Advice: Palacios doubled and scored in the second inning and then walked and scored in the sixth. He had a huge seventh inning, hitting an RBI single, stealing second and coming around to score for the third time in the contest. Palacios has tallied three multi-hit efforts and two steals in his past four games and is now hitting .249 with four home runs, 16 RBI and 12 stolen bases over 197 at-bats in 2024.     • Gleyber Torres continues to deal with groin issue
      Yankees manager Aaron Boone said after Tuesday’s game that Gleyber Torres’s failure to run hard to first base in the eighth was a product of his groin issue.

      Advice: Torres left Thursday and missed Friday’s game with the groin problem before returning Saturday.       Advice: Ibanez continued a strong June, as he's now batting .314 this month with six RBI and six runs scored across 15 games. The utility player is batting a solid .284 overall, and while he's not providing a ton of power, he has been a solid bat for the Tigers. Ibanez's biggest question moving forward is playing time, though Detroit figures to find creative ways to get him into the lineup even if he's not locked into a regular starting role.       Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.

      Advice: Rodgers was responsible for two of the Rockies’ six hits on the night and drove in their only run when he plated Brenton Doyle in the eighth inning.       Nick Gonzales went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

      Advice: It was a much-needed strong game for Gonzales, who came into today hitting just .224 in 20 games in June. The 25-year-old is still barreling the ball 11 percent in 2024 but his groundball rate has gone up to 52 percent in June and he’s pulling the ball more, which has led to more rollover groundballs and fewer line drives all over the field.       Taylor Walls went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI in a win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

      Advice: Walls is now up to a robust .175/.277/.250 slash line since coming off the IL on June 7th. Still, the Rays continue to start him almost every game at shortstop due to his plus defense. Walls will likely never hit enough to be in fantasy lineups, but his presence in the Tampa Bay lineup will put a damper on the fantasy value of Brandon Lowe and Jose Caballero, who are splitting time at second base as a result.
