      Advice: It felt for a moment like this 14-inning marathon would go on forever before Schneider found the right field seats in Toronto. He’s now a fixture at lead-off and one of the few bright spots in what’s otherwise been a bleak season for the Blue Jays.       Advice: It’s probably about time for the A’s to give up on Brown. He was a solid role player in 2021 and ’22, but his slugging fell off last year, and his exit velocity numbers have really slipped while he’s hit .201/.242/.329 this season.       Advice: Finally. Sánchez increased his extra-base hit total by 50% tonight, going from six to nine. Statcast thinks he’s been one of the league’s unluckiest hitters and his hard-hit rate and strikeout rates are both better than his career norms, so odds are that his .657 OPS will continue to climb.
