Cole Tucker gets second straight start for LAA
Cole Tucker is starting at third base for the Angels and hitting eighth against the Pirates on Monday.
Advice: Tucker was called up a week ago and has now started in four games, including the last two at this base. The 27-year-old is 5-for-12 with two doubles, a run, an RBI, and three steals so far. The former Pirates prospect hasn’t been able to sustain any production at the MLB level, but he was showing a more aggressive, pull-centric approach at Triple-A and has been running often in his brief stint with the Angels. He could be worth a dart throw in AL-only and other deep formats to see if he can carve out a full-time job for the banged-up Angels.
