    • Scratched due to migraine
The Angels scratched Drury from the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies due to migraine.

Advice: Drury had been in line to bat cleanup and start at second base before the migraine surfaced shortly before first pitch. Luis Rengifo will slide over from third base and start at the keystone in Drury's stead, while Ehire Adrianza was added to the lineup to start at third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:06 pm

    • Brandon Drury scratched with migraine Wednesday
Brandon Drury was scratched from the Angels’ starting lineup on Wednesday due to a migraine.

Advice: The 31-year-old infielder is considered day-to-day for the time being. Luis Rengifo will cover second base while Ehire Adrianaza entered the lineup at third base and will bat eighth against Phillies’ right-hander Zack Wheeler. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:02 pm

    • Getting rest Wednesday
Stott is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Advice: With a lefty (Patrick Sandoval) on the mound for the Angels and with the Phillies and Halos wrapping up their series with a day game after a night game, the lefty-hitting Stott will get a maintenance day. Whit Merrifield will replace Stott at second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:28 am
    • Logs first steal
Estrada went 0-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-0 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Estrada reached on an error and recorded his first steal of the year to get into scoring position, though he was left on base. Considering he logged a combined 44 steals over the previous two seasons, it's unusual that he's been less active on the basepaths. It doesn't help that he's batting just .229 with a .248 on-base percentage for the year, though those numbers improve to .291 and .316, respectively, over the last 16 games. Estrada is still seeing a starting role at second base despite the early struggles, while Tyler Fitzgerald remains in more of a bench role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:38 am

    • Two homer day in win
Stott went 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI, three runs and a steal in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Stott homered in each of his first two at-bats. He opened up the scoring with a two-run blast in the second and mirrored that with another two-run shot in the fourth. He later reached on a fielder's choice in the eighth and swiped second before eventually coming around to score. Stott has found his bat as of late, tallying eight RBI over his last five games, though he still seems to be stuck on the strong side of a platoon. For the year, the 26-year-old is now slashing .226/.295/.369 with three homers, 14 RBI, 12 runs, four steals and an 8:17 BB:K in 95 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:13 am
    • Opens scoring with homer
Estrada went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Estrada opened the scoring when he took Jared Jones deep in the third inning. Estrada has gone 2-for-7 over two games since he recovered from a minor hamstring issue. The second baseman is slashing a modest .235/.255/.422 with four homers, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases through 28 contests. His power is in line with previous years, but Estrada logged 20-plus steals in both 2022 and 2023, so it's a little unusual to see him getting less involved on the basepaths. • Bryson Stott homers twice in win over Padres
Bryson Stott crushed a pair of two-run homers on Sunday, powering the Phillies to an 8-6 victory over the Padres.

Advice: Stott opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 395-foot (105.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Michael King in the second inning. He replicated that feat in the fourth inning — this time a 396-foot (103.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of King that gave the Phillies a 4-3 lead. He also grounded into a fielder’s choice in the eighth inning, swiped second base and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Johan Rojas. With the monster day at the dish, the 26-year-old second baseman is now hitting .226/.295/.369 with three homers, 14 RBI and four stolen bases in what has otherwise been a disappointing season. • Thairo Estrada returns to Giants lineup
Thairo Estrada (hamstring) returned to the Giants’ starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: Estrada was pulled from Wednesdays game against the Mets due to tightness in his hamstring, then sat out Friday’s contest as a precautionary measure. He’s back in there at second base and batting eighth against Martin Perez and the Pirates on Saturday night. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:11 pm

    • Returns to lineup
Estrada (hamstring) is starting at second base and batting eighth Saturday against the Pirates, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Hamstring tightness forced Estrada out of Wednesday's game against the Mets and prevented him from starting Friday, but it seems to no longer be a problem heading into Saturday's contest. The 28-year-old has gone 4-for-16 with two RBI and three runs scored across his last five games. Rotowire.com Saturday, 3:04 pm
