Advice: Boone added that Soto has been playing through a lingering forearm issue for roughly a week at this juncture, which he’s continued to receive treatment to address, but he didn’t want to risk sending him back out there following a lengthy 56-minute rain delay during Thursday’s contest against the Twins. The 25-year-old fantasy superstar will undergo some precautionary imaging to determine the severity of the issue. There should be an update on his status ahead of Friday’s highly-anticipated series opener against the Dodgers. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for the moment. The 31-year-old righty told reporters arthroscopic surgery is possible if the issue doesn’t improve, but that’s not being considered as an option for now. Advice: There is some speculation that Verdugo is a bit banged up after his run-saving catch in left field.
