    • Grabs third save
Hoffman earned the save in Friday's 4-2 win over the Nationals, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: After Jose Alvarado finished the eighth inning, the Phillies turned to Hoffman in the ninth. The right-hander worked around Joey Gallo's one-out double, closing out the 4-2 victory for his third save of the season -- his first since April 30. Hoffman's been sharp this year, pitching to a 0.90 ERA with a 0.95 WHIP and 27:7 K:BB over 20 innings. While Alvarado is still likely Philly's preferred ninth-inning option, Hoffman should see the occasional save chance depending on matchups. Rotowire.com Today, 6:26 pm

    • Alec Bohm drives in run as Phillies beat Nationals
Alec Bohm clubbed an RBI double on Friday as the Phillies defeated the Nationals in Philadelphia.

Advice: Bohm opened the scoring in the home half of the first inning, plating J.T. Realmuto with his run-scoring double off of Nationals’ right-hander Jake irvin. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night. For the season, the 27-year-old slugger is now hitting a robust .331/.397/.521 with four long balls, 37 RBI and a pair of stolen bases. • Jeff Hoffman slams door on Nationals in ninth
Jeff Hoffman slammed the door on the Nationals in the ninth inning on Friday evening, protecting a two-run lead to earn his third save of the season.

Advice: Jose Alvarado came on to get the final two outs in the eighth inning of this one, leaving Hoffman to clean things up in the ninth. He did allow a one-out double to Joey Gallo that brought the tying run to the dish, but was able to get Ildemaro Vargas on a pop up to second base and Jesse Winker on a fly ball to right field to end it. Hoffman has been outstanding out of the Phillies’ bullpen this season, registering a 0.90 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and a 27/7 K/BB ratio across 19 1/3 innings. Rotoworld Today, 6:00 pm

    • Kyle Harrison has start pushed back until Saturday
Kyle Harrison will have his start pushed back until Saturday, with Mason Black taking his place on Friday evening against the Rockies.

Advice: Giants’ manager Bob Melvin simply wanted to get Harrison and Jordan Hicks an extra day of rest, which is why he inserted Black into the team’s rotation on Friday night instead of in the spot vacated by the injured Keaton Winn (forearm). They both still get to take on the lowly Rockies, so nothing changes from a fantasy perspective. Rotoworld Today, 3:33 pm
    • Justin Turner returns to Jays’ lineup on Friday
Justin Turner returned to the Blue Jays’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Rays.

Advice: After missing the previous three games due to illness, Turner will jump right back in as the Jays’ designated hitter and will bat cleanup against Tyler Alexander and the Rays on Friday evening. On the season, the 39-year-old is hitting .246/.317/.405 with four homers and 16 RBI in 37 games. Rotoworld Today, 2:56 pm

    • Back in lineup
Turner (illness) is back in the lineup as the designated hitter for Friday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Turner was one of three sick Toronto players and missed the starting lineup for team's last three games due to the illness. The primary designated hitter will return against Tampa Bay, slashing .246/.317/.405 on the season with 16 RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 12:11 pm

    • Returns to mound
Chapman (finger) struck out two and did not allow a baserunner in a scoreless inning to earn a hold Thursday against the Cubs.

Advice: Chapman was removed from Sunday's appearance with a cracked fingernail, but the issue was never expected to require a long-term absence. After beginning the season as the Pirates' primary setup man, Chapman appeared in the seventh inning Thursday while Colin Holderman followed him in the eighth frame. Rotowire.com Today, 7:35 am
    • Bohm smacks two doubles Thursday
Alec Bohm went 2-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI against the Mets on Thursday.

Advice: Bohm continues to bash the ball this season as his average is .331. Bohm has a 15 percent strikeout percentage since the beginning of last season. He’s someone you can count on for a solid batting average and entrenched in the middle of the Phillies batting order. Bohm is also benefiting greatly from a .381 BABIP, which is 55 points higher than his career .326 BABIP. He probably has to cool off at some point, but his profile doesn’t scream sell high.

    • Moving out of slump
Torres went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored during Thursday's 5-0 win over the Twins.

Advice: After enduring a 5-for-36 (.138) slump from Apr. 29 to May 11, Torres has gone 6-for-16 (.375) and has scored four runs during his last four games. On Thursday, he clubbed a pair of doubles off Joe Ryan to bring his season total to six through 187 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:11 pm
