    • Trea Turner smacks two homers in win over Braves
Trea Turner went 2-for-5 with two two-run home runs in an 8-6 win over the Braves on Friday.

Advice: Good things have come in pairs for Turner who’s two two-run shots off Max Fried gave the Phillies a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. This was also the second time in four games Turner hit two long balls and his fourth multi-hit game in five contests. Deuces are officially wild for Turner. Rotoworld Today, 7:50 pm

    • Jeff Hoffman secures eighth save
Jeff Hoffman pitched a clean ninth inning on Friday against the Braves to earn the save. He also struck out a batter.

Advice: Hoffman could be inching his way ahead of José Alvarado in the Phillies’ bullpen pecking order. Alvarado got the eighth inning in this one with a five-run lead. That came against the top of the Braves’ lineup and Marcell Ozuna wound up taking him deep to cut the lead to two. Hoffman closed it out in the ninth inning and now has three saves in his last three appearances. Rotoworld Today, 7:49 pm
    • Secures eighth save
Hoffman struck out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning and earned a save over Atlanta.

Advice: Hoffman threw nine of 14 pitches for strikes to close out the 8-6 win. He's picked up saves in three straight appearances and has converted six straight chances dating back to May 17. Hoffman now owns a stellar 1.21 ERA with a 47:8 K:BB through 37.1 frames. Jose Alvarado took the mound in the eighth inning of what appeared to be a blowout win but gave up a three-run homer to Marcell Ozuna. Rotowire.com Today, 7:40 pm

He's gone deep five times in 16 games since returning from the injured list, with four of those coming in his last four games. Turner has knocked multiple hits in eight of those 16 games, good for a .338 (24-for-71) average. On the year, he's slashing .341/.386/.510 with 21 extra-base hits and 22 RBI through 49 contests. • Monster performance in win
Reynolds went 4-for-5 with two home runs, six RBI and three runs scored in a 14-2 win over the Mets on Friday.

Advice: Reynolds gave the Pirates the lead on a two-run home run in the fifth inning then broke things open with a grand slam in the seventh. He hit .330 with six homers in June and has carried his power stroke into July with three long balls and eight RBI through four games. • Managing groin tightness
Torres exited Friday's game against the Red Sox due to right groin tightness.

Advice: Torres suffered a similar injury to his right groin a few weeks ago, and he seems to have aggravated the issue while legging out an infield single during Friday's contest. The Yankees don't have any plans in place to take him in for imaging at the moment, which suggests the team doesn't believe his latest flareup is anything too severe. However, it remains possible the 27-year-old sits out Saturday's contest as a precaution. Rotowire.com Today, 6:45 pm

    • Gleyber Torres leaves game with groin tightness
Gleyber Torres was pulled from Friday’s contest against the Red Sox in the fourth inning due to right groin tightness.

Advice: It’s the same injury that has been bothering Torres for a while now, but the Yankees announced that they don’t believe it’s severe enough to require imaging. If that’s the case, it seems unlikely that he’ll require a trip to the injured list. For now, he should be considered day-to-day, but a lot may depend on how he’s feeling when he wakes up on Saturday. Rotoworld Today, 6:29 pm

    • Bryan Reynolds homers from both sides of plate
Bryan Reynolds went 4-for-5 with two home runs, six RBI, and two runs scored on Friday against the Mets.

Advice: Reynolds was all over the Mets in this one. His two-run homer in the fifth inning pulled the Pirates ahead and his seventh inning grand slam broke this game open. It was the second time in his career he’s homered from both sides of the plate in the same game and he pulled his OPS up to .831 with 16 homers and 54 RBI. He is a perpetually underrated stud. • Exits with apparent injury
Torres was removed from Friday's game versus Boston with an apparent leg injury, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: Torres came up limping after beating out an infield single in the fourth inning, and he was immediately replaced on first base by Oswaldo Cabrera. Torres missed a few games in June due to a groin issue, but the details of his latest injury will come once the Yankees are able to take a closer look at him. Rotowire.com Today, 5:55 pm
