    Turang went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in a loss to the Cubs on Saturday.

    Advice: Turang's speed was on display in the defeat -- he plated the Brewers' first run with an RBI bunt single in the third inning and followed the hit with a steal of second base. The swipe was his 28th of the season, second-most in the majors. Fantasy managers should have been aware of Turang's speed coming into the campaign after he swiped 26 bags in 137 games last year, but the second baseman's other offensive stats have been a pleasant surprise.   • Handed loss Saturday
    Lorenzen (4-4) allowed five runs on four hits and four walks while striking out three over five innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Orioles.

    Advice: Lorenzen gave up a solo home run to Anthony Santander and a grand slam to Heston Kjerstad. This outing ended a few impressive stretches for Lorenzen -- it was the first time in nine starts he's allowed more than three runs, and it was the first time in his last four appearances that he's issued multiple walks. Given his success this year, to the tune of a 3.40 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 58:35 K:BB over 82 innings across 14 starts, it's safe to assume this was just a poor start against a tough opponent.   • Michael Lorenzen gives up grand slam in loss to O’s
    Michael Lorenzen went five innings while allowing five runs in a loss to the Orioles on Saturday.

    Advice: Lorenzen gave up two homers in the loss, and one of those was a grand slam to Heston Kjerstad. The other was a solo shot, as you could probably guess if you are decent at math. The right-hander clearly didn’t have his best command, as he gave up the two roundtrippers and also issued four walks against three strikeouts.   • Triumphant in return
    Gallen (6-4) allowed a hit and a walk while striking out seven over six shutout innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Saturday.

    Advice: Gallen returned from a hamstring injury that cost him nearly a month and took full advantage of a soft matchup. This was the fourth time this season he's gone six innings in a start without allowing a run. He's also posted five quality starts in his last six outings, the lone exception being the May 30 start that ended with the aforementioned hamstring injury before he could record an out. The right-hander is now at a 2.83 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 67:16 K:BB through 63.2 innings over 12 starts. Gallen threw 77 pitches (50 strikes) Saturday, so he should be good for a full workload his next time out, which is tentatively projected for a road outing at San Diego.     Kiner-Falefa went 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.

    Advice: Kiner-Falefa singled and scored in the first inning and added another base-hit in the fifth. He smacked an RBI single and scored in the sixth frame and then finished his huge day by doubling and scoring again in the eighth. Since June 15, the 29-year-old has enjoyed a 13-game hit streak and seen his season average climb from .263 to .296.   • Gallen throws six shutout innings in win vs. A’s
    Zac Gallen allowed no runs in six innings and got the win in the Diamondbacks’ 3-0 victory over the Athletics on Saturday.



    Advice: Gallen gave up one hit, walked one and struck out seven. Even though the Athletics offense is nothing to write home about, Gallen was excellent in his first major league start since May 30th. Gallen has finished in the top five of the Cy Young award voting each of the last two years and appeared to have similar form in this start. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres on the road next week.

    Isiah Kiner-Falefa went 4-for-5 with a double, three runs scored, and one RBI against the Yankees on Saturday.

    Advice: Kiner-Falefa had an excellent day at the plate, collecting four hits against the Yankees while cross home plate three time and driving in one run.   • Final rehab start Wednesday
    Snell (groin) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday and is expected to rejoin the Giants rotation after their road trip that ends July 7, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

    Advice: Snell threw three innings in a start with Sacramento on Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The 31-year-old will require one more rehab appearance before being reinstated and is on track to make a start with San Francisco prior to the All-Star break.     Blake Snell (groin) will make a third minor league rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday.

    Advice: The 31-year-old southpaw pitched three innings in Friday’s latest rehab outing, giving up three runs on four hits and a walk while punching out six.
