• Collects 22nd save
Clase tossed a perfect ninth inning Thursday, striking out one to earn the save against Seattle.

Advice: Clase had allowed earned runs in consecutive appearances June 9 and 11 but has regained his form since, tossing his third consecutive clean outing Thursday to close out the game for the Guardians. Clase ranks first in the American League with 22 saves, ranking behind only Ryan Helsley of the Cardinals, as the latter has 24 to lead the major leagues. Through 35.1 innings this season, Clase has allowed only three earned runs for an ERA of 0.76 with a 0.62 WHIP and 36 strikeouts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:16 pm
  • Emmanuel Clase gets 22nd save against Mariners
Emmanuel Clase hurled a scoreless ninth to pick up a save against the Mariners on Thursday.

Advice: It’s already the 22nd save of the season for Clase, and the hunt for a 50-save season is certainly on. The right-hander didn’t allow a hit and procured a strikeout, and the scoreless frame puts his ERA at a dazzling 0.76. A spectacular season for Clase, and there’s every reason to believe he can keep it going through the second half of the campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:39 pm
  • Stumbles versus Athletics
Marsh (5-4) allowed seven runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four over three innings to take the loss Tuesday versus the Athletics.

Advice: After looking to have righted the ship with seven one-hit innings versus the Yankees in his last start, Marsh took another step back. He's given up at least four runs in four of his last five starts, and this one was his shortest outing of the campaign. The right-hander's ERA shot up to 4.37 with a 1.17 WHIP and 65:21 K:BB over 70 innings across 13 starts. Marsh is projected for a road outing versus the Rangers this weekend, but his recently volatility makes him a risky option in fantasy. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:08 pm

  • Grabs 16th save
Diaz earned the save in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Diaz made quick work of the middle of the Pirates' order Tuesday, logging his 16th save of the year. The right-hander has now converted his last nine save opportunities despite allowing three runs (two earned) over his prior three innings. Overall, Diaz sports a 5.27 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP and 28:19 K:BB across 27.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:38 pm

  • Alec Marsh tagged for seven runs by A’s
Alec Marsh was lit up for seven runs in three-plus innings by the A’s on Tuesday.

Advice: This after he completely shut down the Yankees for seven innings last time out. Marsh got 14 missed swings in the 76-pitch outing, but pretty much everyone who reached base against him came around to score. He’ll take a 5-4 record and a 4.37 ERA into his next start against the Rangers. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:54 pm

  • Collects another quality start
Lorenzen did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Mets, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: The veteran right-hander posted his sixth quality start in his last seven outings with this performance. Over that span dating back to May 13, Lorenzen has pitched to a 1.88 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 27:16 K:BB in 43 innings. He'll look to keep his stellar work going in his next start, tentatively slated to come against the Brewers on the road. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:15 pm
  • Locks down seventh save
Diaz earned the save in Tuesday's 7-6 victory over San Francisco, firing a scoreless inning during which he allowed one hit.

Advice: After an RBI double by Pete Alonso provided New York with the lead in the top of the ninth inning, Diaz entered in the bottom of the frame to gather his second save since returning from the injured list June 13. The flamethrowing closer yielded a leadoff single to Jonah Heim before inducing a groundball double play and flyout for his seventh save this season. After struggling with an 8.68 ERA over 9.1 innings in May, Diaz looks healthy again and has regained control of the Mets' closer role. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:58 pm
  • Edwin Díaz works scoreless ninth for save
Edwin Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth with a one-run lead for his seventh save Tuesday against the Rangers.

Advice: The ninth started with a bloop single that third baseman Mark Vientos probably should have caught in shallow left, but it appeared he got spooked by Brandon Nimmo’s arrival. Fortunately, the ball was hit by Johan Heim, who settled for a single when an average runner might have gotten a double. A double play followed, and Díaz then got a flyout to end the game. • Michael Lorenzen left with no-decision versus Mets
Michael Lorenzen pitched six innings of three-run ball against the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Lorenzen left with a three-run lead, but the Texas bullpen couldn’t hold on to it. One imagines he had higher expectations after joining the world champions, but the Rangers are now 4-8 when he pitches, even though his ERA stands at 3.00. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:46 pm
