      Camilo Doval was perfect in the ninth for a save in a 5-2 game against the Rangers on Friday.

      Advice: Doval was pitching for the first time since giving up four runs in a blown save and a loss to the Yankees on Sunday.       Doval struck out one batter in a perfect inning to earn a save over the Rangers on Friday.

      Advice: Doval fired 10 of 15 pitches to quickly retire the Ragners' 3-4-5 hitters in order and finish off the 5-2 win. It was his first appearance since coughing up four runs against the Yankees on June 2. Doval has now converted 10 of his 12 save chances and Friday was his first successful attempt since May 24.       Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two doubles against the Nationals on Friday.

      Advice: On a night when the Braves offense had only four hits against Nationals starter Jake Irvin, Ozuna managed to double off Irvin twice.       Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run in a 5-2 win against Washington on Thursday.

      Advice: Ozuna gave Atlanta some breathing room with his two-run, eighth-inning blast that extended his team's lead from one run to three. It was the slugger's 18th long ball of the campaign, moving him into fourth place in the majors.       Rafaela went 4-for-6 with four RBI and one run scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Rafaela entered Thursday 0-for-10 across his last three games before enjoying a breakout performance. While all four of his hits were singles, three of them led to more runs on the board for the Red Sox. The 23-year-old is slashing a meager .215/.243/.374 through 62 contests, but he's batting .276 (16-for-58) over his last 16 games.       Gray (7-4) allowed three runs on two hits and four walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings to take the loss versus the Rockies on Thursday.

      Advice: The four walks were a season high for Gray, and he also uncorked two wild pitches, one of which allowed a run to score in the fifth inning. Gray's control issues have manifested with five straight starts where he's allowed multiple walks, and he's failed to complete six innings in any of his last four outings. The right-hander is now at a 3.21 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 82:19 K:BB over 61.2 innings through 11 starts this season. Gray is projected to make his next start at home versus the Pirates.       Ceddanne Rafaela went 4-for-6 with four RBI on Thursday in the Red Sox’ win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Rafaela matched a season-high with four hits in this one as Boston drubbed Chicago’s pitching staff for 14 runs on 24 hits in a lopsided affair.     • Gray allows three in loss Thursday
      Sonny Gray allowed three runs in 4 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Rockies on Thursday.



      Advice: Gray gave up two hits, walked four and struck out five. It was an uneven start for Gray, who threw 89 pitches. He had two wild pitches, one of which allowed a run to score. Gray also had a pitch clock violation. While his ERA increased to 3.21 on the year, his xFIP is much lower at 2.64.       Morel went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Reds.

      Advice: Morel can be streaky with his power production, but he appears to be locked in right now, as he has two home runs across his last three games and three in his last seven contests. The surge has pushed him up to 12 long balls for the season. Morel popped 26 home runs last year, and he certainly could reach or surpass that figure in 2024 if he stays healthy.
