    • Collects three hits, three RBI
Smith went 3-for-6 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Saturday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Smith tied the game at 5 runs apiece with an infield single in the fifth and later added a two-run double in the 11th to put the Dodgers on top 9-7, marking his first multi-hit effort since June 11 against the Rangers. Despite his recent struggles at the plate, the catcher has still managed to post eight RBI over his last nine games and is now up to 50 RBI on the season. However, he's also struck out twice in three of his last five contests. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago
    • Notches third straight win
Bibee (7-2) picked up the win Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits over six innings in a 7-2 victory over the Royals. He struck out three without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander looked shaky early, serving up solo shots to Vinnie Pasquantino in the first inning and Michael Massey in the second, but Bibee didn't let a runner even get to second base after that. He's reeled off three straight wins, all quality starts, and he'll take a 3.47 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 109:22 K:BB through 93.1 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Giants. • Pablo López strikes out nine in victory over M’s
Pablo López recorded nine strikeouts and allowed one run over six innings on Saturday in a win over the Mariners.

Advice: We certainly hope you weren’t one of the fantasy managers that bailed on López during his persistent struggles earlier this month as he’s recorded at least nine strikeouts in back-to-back outings and has allowed just one earned run over 14 innings of work during that span, capitalizing on a pair of favorable road matchups against the Athletics and Mariners, respectively. The underlying expected stats pointed to some regression from a run-prevention standpoint, so we’re not totally surprised that he’s reverted to form after a handful of rough outings. He’ll aim to keep the momentum going when he squares off against the Astros on Friday in his penultimate start prior to the upcoming All-Star break. Rotoworld Today, 3:44 am

    • Scores twice, drives in two
Pena went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored Saturday against the Mets.

Advice: Pena did the majority of his damage with a two-RBI double in the fourth inning. He has now driven in eight runs across his last seven starts, and he's also hit .320 in that span. Pena has just a .099 ISO across 327 plate appearances this season, though he's cut his strikeout rate to 16.5 percent and is hitting a career-best .281. Rotowire.com Today, 12:22 am
    • Will Smith drives in three runs in Dodgers victory
Will Smith went 3-for-6 with a double and three RBI on Saturday night as the Dodgers outlasted the Giants in 11 innings.

Advice: Smith beat out an infield single in the fourth inning that drove in a run and knotted the score at five runs apiece. He then delivered the game’s biggest hit in the 11th inning, smacking a two-run double that gave the Dodgers a two-run lead and put them well on their way to victory. With his three-hit night, the 29-year-old backstop is now hitting .269/.339/.466 with 11 homers and 50 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:06 pm
    • Works around two walks for save
Kimbrel worked around two walks in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Kimbrel, who hadn't walked multiple batters in an outing since May 8, was able to pitch his way out of trouble. He's allowed two runs (one earned) while posting a 13:5 K:BB over 9.1 innings in June, converting six of his seven chances this month. Kimbrel is up to 19 saves with a 2.37 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 44:14 K:BB through 30.1 innings overall. Kimbrel has pitched three of the last four days, so he may not be available if a save situation arises Sunday. With Jacob Webb, Yennier Cano and Cionel Perez also having pitched Friday and Saturday, there could be an opportunity for Dillon Tate or Bryan Baker to get a look in a high-leverage spot. • Craig Kimbrel works around two walks for save
Craig Kimbrel walked two, but didn’t give up a run while picking up a save Saturday against the Rangers.

Advice: Kimbrel walked Leody Taveras to lead off the inning and then gave up a stolen base to the outfielder, and he then got the next two outs. He issued another free pass to Josh Smith, but he was able to get Adolis Garcia to fly out and pick up the save. Crisis averted. Kimbrel has 19 saves and a 2.37 ERA in the first half of 2024. • Nails down 12th save
Hader struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 9-6 win over the Mets.

Advice: The Astros' late comeback resulted in a save chance, and Hader converted with ease. He's picked up five saves over 11 outings in June while surrendering four runs and posting a 16:1 K:BB across 10.2 innings for the month. Overall, he's 12-for-13 in save chances with a 3.68 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 59:11 K:BB through 36.2 innings this season, with the Astros' mediocre play being the main reason for his reduced saves total, though the team is trending up by going 9-2 over the last two weeks. • Hader picks up 12th save against Mets Saturday
Josh Hader tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Hader’s save was his 12th of the season and fifth of June. He struck out two batters in the process. After allowing nine runs in his first 11 appearances, Hader’s allowed only six runs in his last 24 appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:45 pm
