    • Another dominant start
Wheeler (4-3) earned the win Monday against San Francisco, allowing one unearned run on four hits and one walk with 11 strikeouts over seven innings.

Advice: Wheeler didn't allow an earned run for the third time in his last four starts as he shut down the Giants with a season-high 11 strikeouts. After seeing his ERA rise above 3.00 a season ago for the first time since 2019, Wheeler has cruised to a 1.64 ERA across 49.1 innings this season and is tied for the league lead in strikeouts with 63. He'll look to extend his win streak to five next time out, with a tentative matchup with the Marlins on the docket for Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:42 pm

    • Goes the distance in victory
Keller (3-3) allowed one run, five hits and one walk in a complete game victory Monday against the Angels. He struck out five.

Advice: Keller stymied the Angels on Monday night en route to his second career complete game -- his first was a shutout May 8, 2023 against Colorado. The Pirates right-hander induced a whopping 64.0 percent groundball-rate, easily his highest in a start this season, outpacing the 37.5 percent rate he generated on the season prior to Monday. Keller is scheduled to make his next start against the Cubs at home this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:05 pm

    • Mitch Keller pitches complete game versus Angels
Mitch Keller pitched his second-career complete game on Monday and picked up his third win of the season against the Angels.

Advice: Pittsburgh’s ace went the distance on Monday as he allowed just one earned run on five hits and struck out five. His lone run came off a solo homer from Zach Neto. Keller threw 109 total pitches with 75 of them called strikes. In the final frame, Keller got Mickey Moniak and Taylor Ward to strike out and then had Willie Calhoun pop up to left center field. It was an efficient outing from the right-hander as he’ll look to improve his 4.41 ERA against the Cubs this weekend at PNC Park. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:02 pm

    • Zack Wheeler fans 11 in shutting down Giants
Zack Wheeler fanned 11 and yielded only an unearned run over seven innings as the Phillies bested the Giants 6-1 on Monday.

Advice: Wheeler got 16 of his 19 missed swings on fastballs and sinkers today and wound up with an excellent 40% CSW. He’s the easy NL Cy Young favorite at this point, having opened up 4-3 with a 1.64 ERA and a 63/13 K/BB ratio in 49 1/3 innings. His 32.1% strikeout rate would easily top his previous career best of 29.1% in 2021. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:07 pm

    • Picks up second win Sunday
Munoz (2-2) got the win against the Astros on Sunday, firing 1.1 perfect innings during which he recorded a strikeout.

Advice: Munoz continued what is turning into his best stretch of pitching this season, locating eight of his 11 pitches for strikes on his way to his ninth scoreless effort in the last 10 appearances, including his fifth straight. The right-hander has whittled his ERA and WHIP to 2.03 and 1.13, respectively, and he'd also recorded saves in three consecutive appearances before Sunday's victory. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:40 am
    • Takes loss against Mariners
Hader (1-3) allowed a solo home run and struck out one to take the loss Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: Hader entered the game in the ninth inning with the score tied 4-4. He retired the first batter he faced but then served up the go-ahead homer to Cal Raleigh. Hader had turned in three consecutive appearances without giving up an earned run prior to Sunday, though he's now been charged with at least one run in six of his 15 appearances. • Strong showing in rehab start
Luzardo (elbow) struck out six and allowed one hit and one walk over 5.2 scoreless innings in a rehab start with Single-A Jupiter on Sunday.

Advice: Luzardo needed just 67 pitches to cruise through his 5.2 frames. Per Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com, Luzardo averaged 95.1 miles per hour and touched 96.4 mph with his four-seam fastball. The Marlins will likely wait a couple days to make sure Luzardo recovers from the rehab start without any issues, but he should be set up to return from the 15-day injured list for this weekend's series versus the Phillies. • Josh Hader yields go-ahead homer in ninth
Josh Hader lost after giving up a go-ahead homer in a tie game Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: It’s the save situations in which Hader has struggled, but the loss today came after he was asked to preserve a tie. Cal Raleigh’s homer was the second surrendered by Hader in 14 2/3 innings this year. Given that his strikeout rate remains exceptional and his groundball rate is actually considerably higher than usual, we’re still not worried about Hader at all. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:01 pm
    • Faces hitters in live session
Senga (shoulder) completed a 32-pitch live batting practice session Saturday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Facing hitters in extended live BP session marks a major milestone in Senga's recovery from a right posterior shoulder capsule strain, which caused him to miss most of spring training and resulted in him opening the season on the 15-day injured list before he was shifted to the 60-day IL on April 10. He won't be eligible to make his season debut until May 27, but Senga appears on target to return on or around that date based on where he currently stands in his recovery. The Mets will see how he bounces back from Saturday's throwing session over the next couple of days before deciding whether he's ready to report to a minor-league affiliate to begin a rehab assignment, or if he'll need to throw another live BP before doing so.
