    • Slugs first homer as Padre
Solano went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Monday's 2-1 win over Miami.

Advice: Solano came into the contest having gone 2-for-13 over his previous seven contests, but he broke the slump with a second-inning solo homer for the game's first run. The long ball was his first as a member of the Padres after joining the organization on a minor-league deal in mid-April. Solano has never been much of a power hitter, but he's consistently demonstrated good contact skills and is slashing .321/.441/.464 in limited opportunities this season. • Knocks three hits
Freeman went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI in Monday's loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Freeman led the game off with a double and scored the first run. He later knocked an RBI single in the second inning and added another double in the ninth. It was his first multi-hit game since going 4-for-4 on May 18. Freeman boosted his slash line to .228/.324/.370 with 15 extra-base hits and 31 runs scored through 189 plate appearances. • LaMonte Wade Jr. likely to go IL due to hamstring
LaMonte Wade Jr. has a strained left hamstring and will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.

Advice: Expectations are that Wade will go on the injured list. That’ll probably make Wilmer Flores the Giants’ primary first baseman for at least a couple of weeks. Tyler Fitzgerald or David Villar are candidates to join the Giants in his place. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:20 pm

    • Tyler Freeman goes 3-for-5, doubles twice
Tyler Freeman went 3-for-5 and doubled twice as the Guardians’ leadoff man Monday against the Rockies.

Advice: Freeman won’t be spending much time in the leadoff spot after Steven Kwan comes off the IL, but he looks like a lineup fixture right now. His .228/.324/.370 line makes him a league-average hitter, which is kind of sad but also definite progress from the 25-year-old. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:15 pm

    • Diagnosed with hamstring injury
Wade left Monday's game against the Phillies due to a left hamstring strain, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Wade appeared to be grabbing his left knee before exiting Monday's clash, but after further evaluation, it's been determined that he's dealing with a hamstring issue. The team has yet to comment further on whether a trip to the injured list will be required, but it seems likely given the nature of the injury. Wade will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, per Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic. Wilmer Flores would be in line for more chances at first base if Wade misses additional time. • Slugs sixth homer
Schneider went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Monday's 5-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Monday's home run was Schneider's first since May 18. Over that span, the 25-year-old has batted just .194 with seven RBI and five runs scored. Even so, Schneider has batted leadoff in eight of the last nine games for the Blue Jays and should continue to see everyday at bats. On the season, he's slashing .241/.350/.453 with six home runs, 24 RBI and 22 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:37 pm
    • Senzel has two hits, two RBI Monday
Nick Senzel went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI against the Braves on Monday.

Advice: Senzel hit a two-run double in the first inning to extend the Nationals lead to 4-0. He’s hitting just .221 and striking out a decent amount with a 24 percent strikeout percentage. Senzel is hitting for power, though, with a .183 ISO and his 111 wRC+ would be a career-high. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:01 pm

    • LaMonte Wade Jr. exits game with leg injury
LaMonte Wade Jr., who has been dealing with a left hamstring issue, left Monday’s game in the fifth inning with an apparent left leg injury.

Advice: Wade awkwardly slammed his left leg into the bag sliding into second on a double, but it looked like he might have tweaked the hamstring prior to that. He had his arm around the trainer as he walked off, so this could be more than a day-to-day kind of thing this time. If he lands on the IL, the Giants will probably turn to Wilmer Flores at first base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:43 pm

    • Exits game with knee injury
Wade was lifted from Monday's game against the Phillies with an apparent left knee injury, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Wade doubled off the wall in the bottom of the fifth inning but came up lame and had to be removed for a pinch-runner. He had missed the previous two games with a hamstring issue, but it would appear this is unrelated. The Giants should have more on Wade soon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:42 pm
