    • Dansby Swanson goes deep in victory over Brewers
Dansby Swanson walloped his fourth home run of the season on Sunday as the Cubs shut out the Brewers at Wrigley Field.

Advice: Swanson crushed a 399-foot (109.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Thyago Viera in the sixth inning, extending the Cubs’ lead to 4-0. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the afternoon. The 30-year-old infielder has had a rough go at the plate through the first month-plus of the 2024 campaign — slashing .220/.287/.358 to go along with four homers, 12 RBI and four stolen bases. • Big day against Mets
Rosario went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored Friday against the Mets.

Advice: Rosario hit three singles to record his first multi-hit game since April 22. He's hit only .222 in that span, though he's still struck out at just a 15.8 percent clip and has started nine of the last 10 games. Rosario also has an excellent .309 average on the season with two home runs and three stolen bases across 113 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:53 am

    • Amed Rosario collects three hits in win over Mets
Amed Rosario had a nice night at the dish in Friday’s victory over the Mets, going 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored and two RBI.

Advice: The 28-year-old infielder reached on an infield single to start the second inning and scored the Rays’ first run on a ground out off the bat of Jonny DeLuca. He then smacked an RBI single off of José Quintana in the third inning that gave the Rays a 4-3 lead they would never relinquish. He then came around to score on a two-run single by DeLuca. Rosario has been a bright spot in the Rays’ lineup this season, slashing a healthy .309/.327/.427 with two homers, 15 RBI and three stolen bases in his first 29 games. Rotoworld Friday, 6:40 pm

    • Retreats to bench
Swanson is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mets.

Advice: Swanson will get a chance to rest up for the day game after a night game, with Nico Hoerner moving over from second base to replace him at shortstop. The off day comes while Swanson has gone 3-for-17 with eight strikeouts against one walk over his last five games. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:57 am
    • Gets rare day off
Bogaerts is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Bogaerts will hit the bench for just the second time all season in what appears to be a routine maintenance day after he had started each of the past 16 games. Tyler Wade will step in for Bogaerts at second base and will bat ninth. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:56 am

    • Gets day off
Rosario is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Rosario is on the bench for the first time since April 13, breaking a stretch of 14 consecutive starts during which he slashed .351/.373/.509 with two home runs, two stolen bases, nine RBI and seven runs. He's seen action mostly in right field and second base during that time and should continue to maintain a near-everyday role so long as he remains productive at the dish. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:09 pm

    • Amed Rosario gets Monday off vs. Brewers
Amed Rosario is not in the lineup for Monday’s game against the Brewers.

Advice: Rosario has been excellent to begin the year with a .340 average over 97 at-bats, but the Rays will give him a day off Monday against the Brew Crew. Niko Goodrum gets the start at second base while Rosario rests. Rotoworld Monday, 1:43 pm

    • Launches second homer
Arcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: The shortstop crushed a Pedro Avila two-seamer over the fence in left-center field, giving Atlanta its last offense of the night in the eighth inning. Arcia has both his homers on the year in the last nine games, and he's slashing .311/.340/.478 through 97 plate appearances with nine RBI and 12 runs as he proves his 2023 resurgence was no fluke.
