    • X-rays come back negative for Juan Soto (hand)
Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone told reporters after Saturday’s loss to the Blue Jays that X-rays on the injured right hand of superstar outfielder Juan Soto came back negative for any fractures.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar injured himself while sliding headfirst into home plate during Friday’s battle against the Jays. The team has an off-day on Monday, so it seems very likely that he’ll rest again on Sunday before hopefully being able to return to the Bombers’ lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Reds. • X-rays return negative
Soto's (hand) X-rays came back negative Saturday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Soto sustained a right hand contusion sliding into home during Friday's game and was scratched from the Yankees' lineup Saturday. With his X-rays coming back negative, it appears as though Soto has avoided structural damage and a long-term injury. With a team off day coming Monday, it wouldn't be surprising to see Soto sit again Sunday as a precaution. Oswaldo Cabrera started in right field Saturday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 3:14 pm

Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Judge knocked a base hit in the first inning, then drew an intentional walk in the third. With another single in the fifth, Judge drove in the first run of the game for New York. The 32-year-old slugger is slashing an MVP-esque .313/.434/.700 with 30 homers, 64 RBI, and 80 RBI across 365 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:04 pm

    • Final rehab start Wednesday
Snell (groin) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday and is expected to rejoin the Giants rotation after their road trip that ends July 7, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Snell threw three innings in a start with Sacramento on Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The 31-year-old will require one more rehab appearance before being reinstated and is on track to make a start with San Francisco prior to the All-Star break. • Blake Snell to make another rehab start Wednesday
Blake Snell (groin) will make a third minor league rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday.

Advice: The 31-year-old southpaw pitched three innings in Friday’s latest rehab outing, giving up three runs on four hits and a walk while punching out six. Snell got up to 62 pitches (41 strikes) in that outing. If all goes well with Wednesday’s start, he would slot back into the Giants’ starting rotation for the following week. • Back in action
Rutschman (hand) is starting at catcher and batting second Saturday against the Rangers.

Advice: Rutschman was given a day off Friday after he played through a right hand injury Thursday, and he seems to be feeling better ahead of Saturday's contest. Over his last 10 games, the 26-year-old backstop has gone 15-for-40 with a home run, two RBI and seven runs scored. Rotowire.com Saturday, 1:34 pm
    • Adley Rutschman (hand) returns to lineup Saturday
Adley Rutschman (hand) returned to the Orioles’ starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: The 26-year-old backstop sat out Friday’s game due to soreness in his right hand, but he’s right back out there behind the dish to catch Cade Povich on Saturday night. Rutschman is enjoying another tremendous season at the plate, slashing .300/.351/.479 with 15 homers, 55 RBI and one stolen base through his first 77 games. Rotoworld Saturday, 1:26 pm
    • Juan Soto scratched Saturday with hand contusion
Juan Soto was scratched from Saturday’s lineup due to a right hand contusion.

Advice: Soto is dealing with a bruise on his right hand that he suffered on an awkward fourth-inning slide into home plate during Friday’s eventual 16-5 rout of the division-rival Blue Jays. The 25-year-old impending free agent, who blasted his 20th homer later in the contest following the incident, is headed for some precautionary imaging to rule out anything more serious. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for the moment. There should be an additional update on his status at some point on Saturday evening. Stay tuned. Rotoworld Saturday, 12:03 pm
