    • Stumbles against Brewers
Crawford (2-3) took the loss Friday, coughing up six runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.1 innings as the Red Sox fell 7-2 to the Brewers. He struck out four.

Advice: It was the worst performance of the season for the right-hander, who failed to complete five innings for the first time since April 5 and got tagged for more than three earned runs for just the second time in 11 starts. Crawford will take a 2.89 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 61:20 K:BB through 62.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Baltimore. Rotowire.com Today, 6:10 am

    • Craig Kimbrel earns save after near-miss homer
Craig KImbrel picked up his 11th save with a perfect ninth against the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Sort of perfect anyway, given that it took Colton Cowser robbing Tommy Pham of a homer to end the game. Still, even if that ball had managed to get over Cowser’s glove in center, Kimbrel did have another run to play with. It goes as Kimbrel’s sixth straight hitless and walkless appearance. • Picks up 11th save
Foley set down the lone batter he faced to pick up the save in Friday's 6-2 win over Toronto.

Advice: Andrew Chafin recorded the first two outs in the ninth inning before allowing four consecutive base hits, allowing the Blue Jays to get the tying run to the plate. However, Foley would come on in relief to set down Danny Jansen for the final out, earning his 11th save this season. Foley's ERA is down to 2.41 on the year with a 1.34 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB across 18.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:57 pm

    • Kutter Crawford surrenders six runs in defeat
Kutter Crawford lasted only 4 1/3 innings and gave up six runs Friday in a loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Crawford allowed only five hard-hit balls on the night, but he couldn’t stop the bleeding in either the third or the fifth, giving up three runs each inning. After opening up with a 0.66 ERA in his first five starts, Crawford has come in at 4.64 in his last six outings. He’ll pitch in Baltimore next time out, making him a mediocre play in mixed leagues. • Records seventh save
Hader struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 6-3 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Hader has not allowed a hit over his last five appearances spanning seven innings, and he has a 12:2 K:BB with three saves and two wins in that span. The Astros are trending upward as well, which has given Hader more consistent work. The southpaw is at a 3.91 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 37:9 K:BB over 23 innings while converting seven of eight save chances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:00 pm

    • Josh Hader whiffs two while picking up save
Josh Hader struck out two over a scoreless ninth to get a save Friday against the Athletics.

Advice: Hader didn’t allow a hit and needed just 10 pitches to get through the inning even with the two strikeouts. The southpaw has now saved seven games, and his ERA has dropped to 3.91 after a few ugly outings to begin the campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Slams door for save
Kimbrel struck out one batter in a perfect inning and earned a save over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Kimbrel needed just six pitches to finish off a 6-4 victory in quick fashion. After a shaky stretch, he's riding a 5.2-inning scoreless streak. During that span, he's gone 1-0 with three saves and two holds. The veteran closer dropped his ERA to 3.32 and has converted 11 of his 14 saves this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:53 pm
    • Shota Imanaga pushed back until next week
Shota Imanaga will have his start pushed back until next week after Friday’s game against the Cardinals was postponed due to rain.

Advice: The 30-year-old southpaw did all of his pregame work and was ready to go before the rains came and wiped out Friday’s contest. The Cubs will stick with Jameson Taillon and Javier Assad for the final two games over the weekend, with Imanaga now set to take the hill against the Brewers next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:07 pm
    • Friday start rained out
Imanaga and the Cubs won't play the Cardinals on Friday due to inclement weather, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Advice: Thursday's contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader July 13, and Imanaga's next outing will be pushed back to Chicago's upcoming series in Milwaukee early next week, per Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:50 pm
