    • Ranger Suárez struggles in loss to Braves Saturday
Ranger Suárez had his second straight rough outing in Saturday’s loss to the Braves, surrendering five runs on six hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 28-year-old southpaw racked up seven strikeouts on the night while issuing a pair of free passes. Most of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Marcell Ozuna clubbing a two-run homer to cap off a three-run first inning and Ozzie Albies smacking a two-run homer in the fifth. Suárez got 13 swings and misses on 91 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 27 percent. This was the third straight rough start for Suárez who has seen his impeccable 1.75 ERA swell to 2.58. He’ll look to get back on track and finish the first half strong when he takes on the Athletics at home on Friday. Rotoworld 40 minutes ago
    • Diaz picks up eighth save against Pirates Saturday
Edwin Diaz tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Diaz slammed the door on the Pirates to preserve a 5-2 victory for New York. The save was his eighth of the season and first since returning from a 10-game suspension for using an illegal foreign substance. The Mets had the league’s worst bullpen ERA while he was out. The team and fantasy managers are happy to see him back out there. Rotoworld Today, 4:32 pm
    • Ketel Marte (back) held out of lineup on Saturday
Ketel Marte (back) was held out of the Diamondbacks’ starting lineup for Saturday evening’s showdown against the Padres.

Advice: Marte was removed from Friday’s game due to tightness in his back. The Diamondbacks are hopeful that it’s only a minor issue and won’t require a lengthy absence. He’s expected to be available off the bench on Saturday night and could return to the Diamondbacks’ lineup for Sunday’s series finale. Rotoworld Today, 4:32 pm

    • Held out of starting nine
Marte (back) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres but could be available off the bench, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Marte was removed from Friday's contest with lower back tightness and the D-Backs will keep him out of the starting lineup Saturday. However, manager Torey Lovullo said that Marte could be available off the bench if needed. Marte should be considered day-to-day. Rotowire.com Today, 4:22 pm

    • Stops swinging bat
Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Muncy (oblique) has been shut down from swinging a bat, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Roberts added that Muncy hasn't progressed through his rehab as fast as the team had hoped, and the chances of the third baseman beginning a rehab assignment near the All-Star break have been reduced significantly. A right oblique strain has kept him on the injured list since May 17, though his latest setback once again leaves him without a clear return timeline. Rotowire.com Today, 2:36 pm

    • Max Muncy (oblique) shut down from swinging again
Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Saturday that Max Muncy has been shut down from swinging a bat again as his oblique injury is simply not progressing.

Advice: Muncy has been sidelined since the middle of May due to a right oblique strain and any hopes of him returning in July are now out of the picture with this setback. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues that don’t have IL spots may be better served cutting bait and finding better use of the roster spot. Muncy has hit .223/.323/.475 with nine homers and 28 RBI in the 40 games that he has been able to play in this season. Rotoworld Today, 2:33 pm

    • Getting breather against LHP
Gimenez isn't in the Guardians' lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.

Advice: After going 3-for-3 with an RBI during Friday's loss, Gimenez will step out of the lineup Saturday against left-handed starter Kyle Harrison. Angel Martinez will fill the opening at second base and bat second. Rotowire.com Today, 11:57 am

    • Justin Turner back from paternity leave Saturday
Blue Jays activated 1B Justin Turner from the paternity list.

Advice: Turner is back for Saturday’s game against the Mariners following a three-game stint away from the club on paternity leave. The 39-year-old veteran slugger holds a lackluster .734 OPS with five homers and 27 RBI in 284 plate appearances over 74 games this season in his Toronto debut. Rotoworld Today, 10:57 am

    • Back from paternity leave
The Blue Jays reinstated Turner from the paternity list Saturday.

Advice: Turner won't start Saturday's game against Seattle, but he should retain his role as the Jays' primary designated hitter after spending three days away from the team for the birth of his child. The 39-year-old has slashed .250/.359/.375 on the season, though he boasts a 1.009 OPS over his last nine contests. Addison Barger was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move.
