    • Juan Soto propels Yankees past Tigers on Sunday
Juan Soto delivered a go-ahead three-run double in the seventh inning on Sunday, propelling the Yankees to a 5-2 victory over the Tigers in the Bronx.

Advice: The Tigers came back with a pair of runs to tie the game in the top half of the seventh inning, but the Yankees’ bats went right back to work in the home half of the frame. They loaded the bases against Shelby Miller with a single and a pair of walks, then Soto greeted Andrew Chafin with a three-run double into right field to put the Bombers back on top to stay. The 25-year-old superstar finished the day 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts and is now hitting .316/.421/.559 with eight homers, 28 RBI and four stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Today, 3:05 pm

    • Freddy Peralta walks six in loss to Cubs on Sunday
Freddy Peralta struggled with his command in Sunday’s loss to the Cubs, issuing six walks over five innings of three-run baseball.

Advice: Peralta also surrendered three hits on the afternoon while punching out five batters. Even with all of the traffic on the basepaths, the 27-year-old right-hander kept the Cubs off the board through the first four innings. That wasn’t the case in the fifth though, where Nico Hoerner smacked a two-run double and then scored on a wild pitch. Peralta generated 13 swinging strikes on 97 pitches in the contest, posting a CSW of 25 percent. Now 3-1 on the season, he’ll look to bounce back as he carries a 3.49 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and a 50/15 K/BB ratio (38 2/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Cardinals. Rotoworld Today, 2:41 pm
    • Out with elbow inflammation
The Padres placed Musgrove on the 15-day injured list Sunday with right elbow inflammation.

Advice: Musgrove was expected to start Tuesday against the Cubs but will now be sidelined for at least the next couple weeks. It's unclear when the injury surfaced for the right-hander, who struck out nine and allowed two runs over six innings his last time out versus the Cubs. According to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune, there's hope Musgrove will be able to return from the injured list when first eligible May 17 in Atlanta. Randy Vasquez was recalled in a corresponding move and could step into the rotation for San Diego. Rotowire.com Today, 12:55 pm

    • Joe Musgrove heads to IL with triceps tendinitis
Padres placed RHP Joe Musgrove on the 15-day injured list with right triceps tendinitis.

Advice: Musgrove was excellent in his start Wednesday against the Red with nine strikeouts and two runs allowed over six innings, but it appears not everything went well in that outing. Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the move is “precautionary,” so it’s possible he will only miss a couple of starts before rejoining San Diego’s rotation. For now, it appears Randy Vasquez will take his place in the rotation, as Vasquez was recalled from Triple-A El Paso in the corresponding move. Rotoworld Today, 12:55 pm

    • Not in Sunday's lineup
Campusano is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Campusano started the previous four games and went 2-for-15 with two walks, two RBI and two runs. Kyle Higashioka will take over behind the plate in Sunday's series finale. Rotowire.com Today, 12:22 pm
    • May drop appeal after start
Peralta implied that he could drop his appeal of a five-game suspension following his start Sunday against the Cubs, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Peralta was handed the ban Wednesday after he was deemed to have intentionally thrown at Rays outfielder Jose Siri in Tuesday's 8-2 win. The right-hander was ejected from the game immediately after hitting Siri, who then exchanged punches with Brewers reliever Abner Uribe following his next plate appearance in the eighth inning, inciting a benches-clearing brawl. Peralta seemingly appealed the suspension to give the Brewers more time to prepare for his absence, as it doesn't sound as though he's expecting a reduction in his five-game ban following the appeal process. With that in mind, fantasy managers should prepare for Peralta to have his next turn through the rotation skipped, with Milwaukee preparing to turn to a spot starter Friday in St. Louis. Robert Gasser is scheduled to pitch Sunday for Triple-A Nashville and could be called up to fill the void for Peralta on Friday, though manager Pat Murphy also floated the possibility of that game being treated as a bullpen day, per Hogg. • Mashes eighth homer
Ohtani went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: Ohtani kicked off the bottom of the third with a leadoff home run, jumping on a hanging four-seamer from Bryce Elder to give the Dodgers a 3-0 lead. The superstar slugger also drove in a second run on a single in the fourth before finishing the contest with three hits for the fourth time this season. Ohtani has now driven in at least one run in eight of his last 11 games and extended his hitting streak to four games with Saturday's performance. Rotowire.com Today, 7:45 am

    • Two hits, stolen base in loss
Marte went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: Marte drove in the Mets' only run of the game with an RBI single in the top of the first, following a leadoff double from Brandon Nimmo to open the frame. The right fielder would add another single and a walk in the contest while also swiping his seventh bag of the season. Marte has struggled a bit at the plate as of late and is batting just .188 (3-for-16) in May. However, he's also tallied multiple hits in five of his last 11 games. Rotowire.com Today, 5:44 am
