      Advice: Abrams is back at shortstop and leading off on Saturday after being hit by a pitch twice during Friday’s game -- first on his right arm by an 89 mph cutter in the first inning and then on his left wrist by an 88 mph offering a couple frames later. The positive news here is that X-rays came back negative and the issue didn’t seem to impact the cyst that he’s been dealing with near that left wrist.       Advice: Langeliers isn’t exactly known for his speed, but he was able to procure his third steal of the season. The power is a little more readily apparent, and he hit one of three homers in the ninth inning for the A’s to give him 15 on the year and Oakland an 8-4 lead.       Advice: Doval gets the win because the stat is flawless and baseball is a fair and just sport. The right-hander gave up a triple to James Outman, and a sac fly from Jason Heyward tied the game at 3-3. Merrill's power has emerged as the weather has heated up -- while his 11 homers through 82 games is already good for a 21-year-old in his first MLB campaign, eight of those long balls have come in his last 15 contests, a stretch in which he's batting .309 (17-for-55) with 11 runs and 16 RBI.
