    • Willy Adames doubles three times versus Cards
Willy Adames doubled three times and knocked in two runs Friday versus the Cardinals.

Advice: Not only is Adames exceeding expectations with his .265/.351/.476 line, but his seven steals are just one off his career high. Last year, he was 5-for-8 stealing bases in 149 games. This year, he’s 7-for-8 in 38 games. We wouldn’t expect him to keep that up, but it’s hard not to view him as a top-10 shortstop at this point. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:38 pm

    • Laces three doubles
Adames went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's victory over St. Louis.

Advice: Adames managed to collect all three of his doubles off different Cardinals pitchers -- Lance Lynn in the second inning, Matthew Liberatore in the fifth and Kyle Leahy in the seventh. With his effort Friday night, the Brewers shortstop has already reached double digits in the category, sporting 10 doubles on the season. Overall, Adames is slashing .265/.351/.476 with seven home runs, 23 runs scored and 27 RBI over 168 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:00 pm

    • Takes fourth loss
Jones (2-4) took the loss Friday against the Cubs, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Jones allowed a solo homer to Cody Bellinger in the first inning before the Cubs tacked on runs in the fifth and sixth. The 22-year-old Jones has yet to allow more than three runs in a start this season -- his ERA sits at 2.68 with a 0.87 WHIP and 56:7 K:BB across 47 innings in his rookie campaign. Jones is currently lined up for a rematch with Chicago on the road in his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:50 pm

    • Punches out 11
Crochet (3-4) yielded five hits over six shutout frames Friday while striking out 11 as he earned a win over the Guardians.

Advice: Crochet carved up Cleveland's lineup with ease, setting new career bests with 11 strikeouts and 21 whiffs. He seems to be fully back on track after struggling during the middle of April. He gave up 17 runs over an ugly three-start stretch but has allowed just three runs while registering a 24:1 K:BB over his last three outings. Crochet lowered his season ERA to 4.63 with an outstanding 64:9 K:BB through 46.2 frames. He's currently in line for a home matchup with the Nationals next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:39 pm
    • Finally snaps slump
Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Mets.

Advice: Olson hit Atlanta's third and final homer during the third inning and it proved to be the game-winning blast. It was his first long ball since April 7, snapping an uncharacteristic 26-game skid. During that extended drought, he posted a .508 OPS with 30 strikeouts. On the year, Olson is slashing .202/.311/.372 with 13 extra-base hits and 18 RBI through 35 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:55 pm
    • Jared Jones turns in quality start in loss
Jared Jones yielded three runs — two earned — in six innings Friday in a loss to the Cubs.

Advice: The unearned run was the product of Yasmani Grandal losing the ball on the tag on what should have been a very nice play to get Nico Hoerner at home. It’s rare to see errors called on such things, but Grandal had plenty of time to get the tag down after a fantastic relay from Oneil Cruz and just botched it. Jones finished with just four strikeouts tonight despite getting 18 whiffs. Part of the problem was that he had only nine called strikes on his 87 pitches. He’s now 2-4, even though his ERA stands at 2.68. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:46 pm

    • Nick Castellanos goes deep in victory over Marlins
Nick Castellanos clubbed his third home run of the season on Friday night as the Phillies crushed the Marlins in Miami.

Advice: Castellanos opened the scoring in the contest with his 400-foot (104.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Trevor Rogers in the second inning. That would be his only hit in five at-bats on the night. For the season, the 32-year-old slugger is hitting an underwhelming .207/.268/.303 with just three homers and 13 RBI. • On bench for third straight game
Chourio is absent from the lineup for Friday's game versus the Cardinals.

Advice: In three games since Christian Yelich returned from the injured list, Chourio has been out of the lineup each time, although he did get a couple plate appearances off the bench Wednesday. Yelich, Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins appear to be ahead of Chourio in the outfield pecking order, and Jake Bauers might be as well. The 20-year-old rookie is slashing just .205/.275/.397 through his first 25 MLB contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:46 pm
    • Three hits in win
Yelich went 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.

Advice: The outfielder singled in his first at-bat before coming home on a Rhys Hoskins home run as the Brewers took an early 3-0 lead. Yelich would then add an RBI triple in the fifth to extend Milwaukee's lead, and he finished the game with three hits for only the second time this season. He went hitless in his first game back from the injured list but he's hit safely in 11 of 12 games for the season. He's also driven in at least one run in four of his last six contests.
