    • Brewers activating Mitchell, demoting Black
The Brewers will activate Garrett Mitchell and send down Tyler Black prior to Monday’s game in Colorado.

Advice: It seemed like Black would get more of a look this time around, but after four games in which he collected three hits and three walks, the Brewers glued him to the bench for the entire last week. Now they’ll be creating a logjam in the outfield by activating Mitchell while keeping Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins around. Jackson Chourio has turned into a fixture in right, so the Brewers will be choosing between Mitchell, Frelick, Perkins and Jake Bauers for two lineup spots each day. That’s not a great fantasy value situation for Mitchell, though his upside is very much present. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:35 pm
    • Set to be activated Monday
Mitchell (finger) will join the Brewers in Denver on Monday and will be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of the series opener against the Rockies, Adam McCalvy of MLB.comreports.

Advice: The 25-year-old has missed the first three months of the season due to a fractured finger, but he's ready to join the Brewers after a 14-game rehab assignment in the minor leagues. Milwaukee will now have a major logjam in the outfield, with Mitchell joining a group of Christian Yelich, Blake Perkins, Sal Frelick and Jackson Chourio. Frelick saw time at third base during spring training, but Joey Ortiz (neck) has played his way into the starting job during the first half. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:24 pm
    • Winn has two hits, RBI in win over Reds Sunday
Masyn Winn went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Winn hit an RBI double off Fernando Cruz in the sixth inning to put the Cardinals up 2-0. He continues to produce out of the leadoff spot for St. Louis. Winn is hitting .286 with a .745 OPS and 28 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:54 pm

    • Taking seat Sunday
Schuemann is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Schuemann has gone 5-for-41 (.122 average) with a 32.1 percent strikeout rate in his past 13 games and will sit for Sunday's series finale in Arizona. Aledmys Diaz will take over at shortstop and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:50 pm

    • On bench against southpaw
Massey is out of the lineup for Sunday's game agains the Guardians.

Advice: Massey will be joined on the bench by fellow left-handed hitters MJ Melendez and Kyle Isbel as the Guardians send southpaw Logan Allen to the hill. Vinnie Pasquantino will replace Massey as the Royals' designated hitter. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:01 am
    • Gabriel Moreno (thumb) could return Tuesday
Gabriel Moreno (thumb) could be activated off the injured list as as soon as Tuesday, Jody Jackson of the Diamondbacks reports.

Advice: Moreno was placed on the injured list last Saturday with a sprained left thumb, and he’ll be eligible for activation Tuesday. The 24-year-old may get a couple extra days, but the Diamondbacks already announced they don’t believe he needs a rehab assignment, so it would take something unforeseeable for him not to be back before the middle of the week. • Belts seventh homer
Haniger went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Haniger's third-inning solo shot, his first homer since May 14, knotted the score at 1-1 and gave the Mariners what would be their only run of the day. The 33-game long ball drought that was snapped is just another facet of what's turned into a relatively miserable return to Seattle for Haniger after a year with the Giants, as he carries a .214/.285/.339 slash line through 74 games. • Crushes second homer
Noel went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Royals.

Advice: In his fourth big-league game, Noel launched his second big-league homer, and it wasn't a cheap one -- the 22-year-old ripped a Cole Ragans slider down the left-field line in the fourth inning, and the ball left his bat at 115.4 mph. Per Mandy Bell of MLB.com, it was the hardest-hit home run by a Cleveland player since Statcast was introduced in 2015. Noel has started two of four games since his promotion, going 3-for-9 with a double in addition to the long balls, but the Guardians will find room for him in the lineup more often if he keeps displaying this kind of power. • Being evaluated for activation
The Diamondbacks will assess Sunday whether Thomas (hamstring) is ready to be activated from the 10-day injured list, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Thomas played in rehab games Friday and Saturday for Triple-A Reno. He started in center field and played nine innings on both occasions. The outfielder has a combined 32 plate appearances while on his rehab assignment and is hitting .310/.344/.483 between stops with Reno and the rookie-level Arizona Complex League.
