    • Locks down 21st save
Suarez struck out two over 1.1 perfect innings to earn the save in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Suarez went a week without an appearance, so he was fresh Wednesday. He needed just 14 pitches (10 strikes) to get the last four outs of this victory, which resulted in his 21st save in 22 chances this year. The Padres' closer has been dominant with a 1.05 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 32:6 K:BB over 34.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:55 pm
    • Gavin Stone struggles against Diamondbacks
Gavin Stone allowed four runs with three strikeouts over three innings in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Advice: This wasn’t one Stone’s best outings as the Diamondbacks chased him after just three frames. A base hit and two walks loaded the bases before the Diamondbacks brought a run in on a sacrifice fly in the first inning. He worked around a bases-loaded jam in the second, then gave up three runs, including a two-run blast by Gabriel Moreno, in the third. That was it for Stone, ending his day with a 3.03 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and a 73/28 K/BB ratio across 92 innings. He’ll take on the Phillies in Philadelphia on Tuesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:35 pm
    • Takes no-decision Wednesday
Wheeler allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision versus the Cubs on Wednesday.

Advice: Wheeler has posted quality starts in eight of his last nine outings, the lone exception being an eight-run disaster at Baltimore on June 16. The right-hander left Wednesday's game with a lead, but Matt Strahm couldn't maintain it, though the Phillies went on to win 5-3 anyway. Wheeler is now at a 2.74 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 119:33 K:BB through 111.2 innings over 18 starts this season. He's projected for a tough home start versus the Dodgers in his next outing. • Robert Suarez works four-out save against Rangers
Robert Suarez shut the Rangers down with two strikeouts across 1 1/3 innings to earn the save on Wednesday.

Advice: Suarez’s magnificent season continued in this one as he eviscerated the Rangers with his blazing fastball and changeup. This was by far the most he’s used his changeup in a single outing at 43% and it seemed to surprise the Rangers. It was a nice wrinkle as Suarez has thrown his four-seam fastball almost 80% of the time so far this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:56 pm
    • Grabs 21st save
Iglesias allowed a hit and struck out one over one scoreless inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Giants.

Advice: Iglesias' last two outings were in non-save situations. He's on a five-inning scoreless streak and has given up just two runs across 10.1 innings since the start of June. For the season, the closer has a 2.27 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 28:7 K:BB through 31.2 innings while converting 21 of 23 save opportunities. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:56 pm
    • Ryan Pepiot all over the place against Royals
Ryan Pepiot labored through four innings on Wednesday against the Royals. He allowed four hits and three walks without striking out a batter in a no-decision.

Advice: Pepiot could not place his fastball in this one. Too many were in the heart of the zone and so many more were way off the plate. Of the 43 pitches he threw, the Royals swung-and-missed at just one and took only four called strikes. That’s untenable for a pitch he threw 49% of the time. Without it working, he kept falling behind and had to grind through difficult innings. Things will not get easier in his next scheduled start against the Yankees. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:12 pm
    • Zack Wheeler whiffs seven in no-decision vs. Cubs
Zack Wheeler recorded seven strikeouts and allowed two runs over six innings on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Advice: Wheeler gave up only five hits with a pair of run-scoring doubles from Cubs rookie Pete Crow-Armstrong accounting for all of the damage against him across six frames. He induced 13 swinging strikes and finished with a 28 percent CSW. The 34-year-old fantasy ace has allowed two earned runs or fewer in 15 of his 18 starts so far this season. He’ll bring a stellar 2.74 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 119/33 K/BB ratio across 11 2/3 innings (18 starts) into a challenging home matchup against the Dodgers in his penultimate outing prior to the Midsummer Classic. • Raisel Iglesias earns 21st save of the season
Raisel Iglesias allowed a hit and struck out a batter on Wednesday to nail down the save against the Giants.

Advice: Iglesias continues to stymie the opposition despite not putting up the same gaudy strikeout totals as his other late-inning relief counterparts. His 21 saves are fourth most in the league while both his 2.27 ERA and 0.88 WHIP are lights out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:01 pm
    • Bryce Harper leads N.L. All-Star vote getters
Bryce Harper led all National League players in voting for the All-Star Game, getting named to his eighth All-Star team.

Advice: What remains unclear is whether or not Harper — who is currently stationed on the injured list with a left hamstring strain, will be able to participate in the Mid-Summer Classic. Here’s who will join him in the starting lineup for the National League All-Stars (with their number of times making the All-Star team and starting in the game in parentheses): C: William Contreras (2 - 1x starter), 1B: Bryce Harper (8 - 7x starter), 2B: Ketel Marte (2 - 2x starter), SS: Trea Turner (3 - 2x starter), 3B: Alec Bohm (1 - 1x starter), DH: Shohei Ohtani (4 - 4x starter), OF: Christian Yelich (3 - 2x starter), Jurickson Profar (1 - 1x starter) and Fernando Tatis Jr. (2 - 2x starter).
