    • Two RBI in loss
Steer went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in Thursday's 5-4 loss to Arizona.

Advice: Steer delivered two runs on a two-out single in the bottom the seventh inning to tie the game before the Diamondbacks went ahead an inning later. He continues to produce with runners in scoring position, posting a .359 average and 1.022 OPS in such situations. Rotowire.com Today, 5:44 am

    • Stott has two hits, steal in win
Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott picked up two singles to up his triple slash to .245/.339/.377 on the year and also swiped his eighth stolen base. Stott has moved around between second base and shortstop since Trea Turner went down with a hamstring injury, and it’s hard to imagine Stott getting many days off over the next six weeks while Turner is out. The power hasn’t been there this year, but the steals are valuable and Stott should get the opportunity to pick up important counting stats while hitting in a good lineup. • On bench again
Cabrera is out of the Yankees' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros.

Advice: Cabrera will be available off the bench for a second straight game after making 22 straight starts at third base. Jon Berti will man the hot corner and bat ninth against Houston. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:51 am

    • Getting start at shortstop
Stott will start at shortstop and bat seventh in Monday's game versus the Giants, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Edmundo Sosa handled shortstop for the Phillies in the team's first two games without Trea Turner (hamstring), but Stott will man the position Monday while Whit Merrifield plays second base. Stott is making his first start at shortstop since Game 6 of the 2022 World Series. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:15 am

    • Runs wild against Mets
Caballero went 0-for-2 with three walks, three runs scored and four stolen bases during Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Mets.

Advice: Despite not tallying a hit, Caballero was all over the basepaths, reaching thrice via walk and becoming the third player since 2020 to accumulate four steals in a game. One of those swipes came in the 10th inning when he stole third after beginning the frame as the designated runner. He then scored on a walk-off triple by Jonny DeLuca. Caballero ranks third in MLB with 13 steals this season and holds a .317 on-base percentage. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:06 pm

    • Jose Caballero steals four bases with no hits
Jose Caballero stole four bases and scored three runs without recording a hit Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Only against the Mets. Caballero walked three times today and also got a steal as the automatic runner in the 10th inning. He’s just the second player this millennium to steal four bases without getting a hit; Everth Cabrera did so for the Padres in 2012. Caballero leads the AL with 13 steals in 18 tries this season. • Snaps team scoreless streak
Steer went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Steer's ninth-inning single plated Cincinnati's lone run, marked his team-leading 23rd RBI and snapped the club's 26-inning scoreless streak at home. The Reds started five players batting .200 or lower and have had issues scoring of late, batting .185 with 78 strikeouts over the last eight games (six losses). Steer's .333 average and .639 slugging with runners in scoring position could be more helpful if the Reds can get on base in front of him. The club ranks 27th in MLB with a .292 on-base percentage. • Bryson Stott plates two, Phillies crush Giants
Bryson Stott went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI on Saturday, powering the Phillies to a dominant 14-3 victory over the Giants.

Advice: Stott delivered a pair of run-scoring hits in the first and second innings of this one as Philadelphia scored nine runs combined in those frames to open the contest. He also walked twice in the one-sided affair to reach base safely in four of his five plate appearances at a rain-soaked Citizens Bank Park. The 26-year-old second baseman hasn’t exactly come out of the gate on fire, but he holds a respectable .240/.330/.375 triple-slash line with three homers, 16 RBI and six steals through 30 games. • On base three times
Caballero went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a walk Friday against the Mets.

Advice: Caballero collected a pair of hits for the second consecutive game and also drew his first walk in 12 starts. He also remains busy on the basepaths, though he was caught stealing for the fifth time in 14 attempts on the campaign. Caballero hasn't offered much power across 113 plate appearances, but he does have 14 runs scored and 12 RBI. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:07 am
