      Advice: Though his long ball didn't travel nearly as far, Freeman followed Shohei Ohtani in the first inning Monday as the pair slugged back-to-back homers. Freeman has yet to fully flex his power this season -- he has just three homers through 167 plate appearances -- but he's been otherwise productive, as usual, with a .292/.407/.445 slash line, 21 RBI, 18 runs and a stolen base.       Freddie Freeman hit a solo homer in a victory Monday over the Marlins.

      Advice: Freeman went back-to-back with Shohei Ohtani, and his solo blast gave the Dodgers a 3-2 lead. The 34-year-old hasn’t shown a ton of pop in the early portion of the year, as it’s just the third homer for the veteran first baseman in 2024.       Robert Suarez recorded a five-out save on Monday against the Cubs.

      Advice: Suarez was tasked with protecting a three-run lead upon entering the eighth inning of Monday’s series opener at Wrigley Field for his first appearance since last Wednesday. The hard-throwing 33-year-old righty struck out Yan Gomes and retired Nico Hoerner to extinguish a bases-loaded threat in the eighth before coming back out to toss a perfect final frame. He’s converted all 11 of his save opportunities this season to go along with a microscopic 0.59 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 14/4 K/BB ratio across 15 1/3 innings (14 appearances).       Suarez struck out three batters over 1.2 perfect frames and earned a save over the Cubs on Monday.

      Advice: Suarez was called into a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the eighth inning and quickly steamrolled the Cubs in order to finish off the game. He matched his longest outing of the year while firing 14 of 20 pitches for strikes. Suarez has been nearly perfect this season; he's 1-0 with a 0.59 ERA while converting each of his 11 save chances.       Keller (3-3) allowed one run, five hits and one walk in a complete game victory Monday against the Angels. He struck out five.

      Advice: Keller stymied the Angels on Monday night en route to his second career complete game -- his first was a shutout May 8, 2023 against Colorado. The Pirates right-hander induced a whopping 64.0 percent groundball-rate, easily his highest in a start this season, outpacing the 37.5 percent rate he generated on the season prior to Monday.       Mitch Keller pitched his second-career complete game on Monday and picked up his third win of the season against the Angels.

      Advice: Pittsburgh’s ace went the distance on Monday as he allowed just one earned run on five hits and struck out five. His lone run came off a solo homer from Zach Neto. Keller threw 109 total pitches with 75 of them called strikes. In the final frame, Keller got Mickey Moniak and Taylor Ward to strike out and then had Willie Calhoun pop up to left center field.       Advice: Fried quickly surrendered a two-run homer to Shohei Ohtani in the opening frame. He was able to settle in thereafter, blanking the Dodgers over the next four innings before Teoscar Hernandez got a hold of one in the sixth to make it a 4-0 ballgame. Sunday was Fried's first outing this year giving up multiple home runs, but he's also gone at least six innings in three straight while striking out at least six in all three appearances.       Santander went 3-for-5 with a home run, five RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's win over Cincinnati.

      Advice: Santander already had a nice multi-hit performance in the bag before capping his day off with a ninth-inning grand slam in the blowout victory. It was his fifth long ball of the year and first since April 17, snapping a 15-game drought. He posted a .505 OPS over his previous 13 games since his last multi-hit effort April 20.
