      Advice: He touched up Walker Buehler in the first inning to give the Reds an early lead. As Mark Sheldon of MLB.com notes, Steer has now gone deep in back-to-back games after entering the series without a homer since May 1 (17 games). His struggles from the middle of the order this month have led the Reds to the cellar in the NL Central, though it's certainly not all his fault.       Jose Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Angels on Saturday.

      Advice: Ramirez now has 10 home runs, 26 RBI and only eight strikeouts in his last 19 games. He’s the first player to reach 50 RBI overall this season.       Advice: With his performance against the Angels, Ramirez collected his 24th career multi-homer game. The veteran third baseman also moved atop the RBI leaderboard, pacing the league with 49.       José Ramirez homered twice while driving in four runs in a 10-4 rout of the Angels on Friday.

      Advice: Ramirez also drew a walk. The switch-hitting star has gone deep 14 times, and both long balls were off Patrick Sandoval on Friday.     • Returns to starting nine
      Steer (ankle) will start at first base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Padres.

      Advice: Steer didn't start in either of the last two games while managing a sore ankle, though he felt well enough to make a pinch-hitting appearance in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers. Monday's team off day plus an absence from the lineup in Tuesday's 2-0 win over San Diego appears to have provided sufficient time for Steer to move past the ankle issue. He'll likely continue to see the bulk of his starts at first base rather than in the corner outfield for the duration of Christian Encarnacion-Strand's (wrist) stint on the injured list.       José Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Mets on Tuesday.

      Advice: Ramirez’s home run was a 380-foot shot off Adrian Houser at 101.5 mph off the bat for his 12th big fly of the season. He also added a two-out RBI double to give him 44 RBI on the season. The batting average may not be what fantasy managers are hoping for, but Ramirez is hitting the ball well and should be back to something resembling his usual triple slash in no time.
