      Brent Rooker drove in a pair of runs in a win Saturday over the Astros.

      Advice: Rooker gave the A’s a 2-0 lead with a double to scored a pair in the second inning. The 29-year-old slugger has already driven in 34 runs, and he’s currently on a triple-digit pace.       Hernandez went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, an additional run, a double and two walks in Friday's loss to Cincinnati.

      Advice: Hernandez also reached on a hit-by-pitch, so he got on base in all five of his plate appearances. Both of the outfielder's hits went for extra bases, and his ninth-inning solo homer was his first long ball in 12 games.
