    • Sitting against southpaw
Garcia is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

Advice: With southpaw David Peterson on the bump for the Mets, the lefty-hitting Garcia will head to the bench in the series opener. Ildemaro Vargas will fill in for Garcia at the keystone. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:42 pm
    • Out against left-hander
Winker is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

Advice: Winker is poised to become the Nationals' primary designated hitter after the club designated Eddie Rosario for assignment and called up James Wood from Triple-A Rochester to play left field on an everyday basis. The lefty-hitting Winker will begin the four-game series with the Mets on the bench, however, with New York sending left-hander David Peterson to the mound. Harold Ramirez will serve as the DH on Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:41 pm

    • Jose Altuve gets an off day on Monday
Jose Altuve is not in the Astros lineup on Monday.

Advice: It’s a routine day off for Altuve, who was tremendous in June. Mauricio Dubon will play second base for the Astros on Monday against the Blue Jays, which will allow Chas McCormick to come back in the lineup in left field Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:22 am

    • Rare day off Monday
Altuve is out of the lineup for Monday's game in Toronto, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Altuve was ejected following the seventh inning of Sunday's 10-5 win over the Mets in 11 innings for arguing with the umpire that he fouled a ball off his foot, and he'll now receive some additional rest in what will be just his third day out of the lineup all season. Mauricio Dubon will cover second base Monday while Altuve sits in the series opener. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:22 am

    • Blasts 31st homer
Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in an 8-1 win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Judge helped New York get off to a fast start with a 423-foot, two-run shot to center field in the first inning. He added a single later in the contest to notch his third straight multi-hit game, and the slugger has gone 7-for-12 with five RBI during that stretch. Judge had a monstrous June overall, slashing .409/.514/.864 with 11 home runs, 37 RBI, 25 runs and three stolen bases over 25 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:48 am

    • Aaron Judge blasts 31st home run
Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer on Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: 31 home runs and 82 RBI before the Fourth of July is inconceivable. It’s even more amazing when you consider Judge had just six home runs and 18 RBI on May 1st. There is no question that he’s the best power hitter in the game right now. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:39 pm

    • Ejected from Sunday's contest
Altuve was ejected from Sunday's game against the Mets, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Altuve grounded out to finish the seventh inning, but he was ejected for arguing that he fouled the ball off his foot. The 34-year-old went 2-for-4 with an RBI prior to being sent off, which is his fifth multi-hit effort in the past six games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:33 pm

    • Earns third save
Chapman gave up a run on two hits in the ninth inning but still managed to pick up his third save Sunday against Atlanta.

Advice: Chapman came in with a three-run lead in the ninth and worked in and out of trouble to grab his second save in his last four appearances. The veteran has taken over the Pirates' ninth-inning role since losing closer David Bednar to an oblique injury June 19th. There is still no timetable for Bednar's return, so Chapman is likely looking at a few more save opportunities in the meantime. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:23 pm
    • Aroldis Chapman gets save despite allowing run
Aroldis Chapman allowed a run but still picked up a save Sunday against Atlanta.

Advice: Chapman gave up a sacrifice fly to Orlando Arcia, but it still left Atlanta down 4-2. It didn’t change the outcome of the game, but it did hurt his ERA, which climbed to 3.87. It’s the third save of the year for Chapman, and he’ll likely see the bulk of chance with David Bednar on the injured list with a strained oblique. Rotoworld Sunday, 11:11 am
