Ronel Blanco allows four runs in loss to Cards
Ronel Blanco gave up four runs over 5 2/3 innings on Wednesday in a loss to the Cardinals.
Advice: Blanco has cooled off a bit of late after opening the season in dominant fashion, failing to complete six frames in five of his last seven starts since April 27. He gave up five hits, including a solo homer to Nolan Arenado, and finished with only a pair of strikeouts in this one, his lowest single-start total of the year. He’ll bring a solid 2.78 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 59/27 K/BB ratio across 64 2/3 innings (11 starts) into a road matchup on Tuesday against the Giants at Oracle Park.
