      Matt Vierling went 1-for-3 with a walk against the Brewers on Friday.

      Advice: It was a quiet night for the Tigers offense as they were shutout and managed only two hits. Still, Vierling got on base twice out of the leadoff spot. His average is up to .282 with a .794 OPS on the season. Obviously, he’s not going to put up big time run totals given the state of Detroit’s offense, but he’s been a viable option even in mixed leagues so far this season.       Royce Lewis is out of the starting lineup for Thursday’s series finale against the Yankees.

      Advice: It’s just a routine day off for the 25-year-old who’s working his way back from a pretty major quad injury. Lewis has homered in each of his first two games back and looks primed to put up major fantasy value for the remainder of the season if he can just remain healthy.       Advice: Lewis homered in his return from a lengthy absence due to a quad injury Tuesday, and he left the yard again Wednesday in his second game back. The third baseman has played in just three contests this season, but he's maximized his opportunities with a long ball in each of those games.     • Royce Lewis homers again in loss to Yankees
      Royce Lewis homered for the third consecutive game on Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Twins past the Yankees.

      Advice: Lewis went deep on opening day and then crushed another homer in his return from the injured list on Tuesday. He followed that up with a 373-foot (100.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Dennis Santana in the seventh inning that pulled the Twins to within six runs at 9-3. He finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .571/.667/1.857 with three homers and three RBI through his first three games on the season. He just needs to stay healthy.       Garcia went 2-for-4 with a walk, one stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Guardians.

      Advice: Garcia is making excellent contact lately with multiple hits in nine of his last 16 games. He's gone hitless just three times in that span. It took a while for the third baseman to get into a rhythm at the plate, but the Royals stuck with him atop the lineup due to his speed.       Bohm went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Brewers in 10 innings.

      Advice: Bohm got the Phillies on the board in the eighth inning, leading off the frame with a 420-foot blast off Elvis Peguero to tie the game, 1-1. It's the first homer since May 19 for Bohm -- he's gone just 11-for-57 (.193) since then following a red-hot start to the season.       Advice: Rengifo plated the Angels' first run with a base hit in the third and wound up being stranded on second after notching his 14th steal and second in as many games.     • Homers in return from quad injury
      Lewis went 1-for-1 with a home run and two walks in Tuesday's loss to the Yankees.

      Advice: He got the start at third base in just his second game of the season after being injured Opening Day and missing nearly 10 weeks due to a strained right quad. Lewis is remarkably 3-for-3 with two home runs in those two games. It was a good sign for his health that he played defense as opposed to being eased into action at DH, but Lewis figures to get a day or two off over the next week as he gets back up to full speed.
