    • Tyler Freeman has two hits, HR in win over MIA
      Tyler Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 6-3 win over the Marlins on Sunday.

      Advice: Freeman was hitting second in the order with a left-hander on the mound, which is a nice boost to his fantasy value since he had moved down in the order with both Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez back. Freeman has just 27 RBI on the season, so being able to stay up in the order in some starts will help his counting stats. He also now has six home runs and eight RBI in his first season as a starter and if his .234 BABIP improves, he could be a .250 hitter moving forward as well.     • Jazz Chisholm homers in loss to Guardians
      Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Guardians on Sunday.

      Advice: Jazz absolutely demolished a fourth-inning offering from Carlos Carrasco 440 feet and 108.1 mph for his ninth home run of the season. The 26-year-old has lowered his strikeout rate and raised his walk rate this season, but it hasn’t led to much of an improvement in batting average. Still, he’s likely going to hit 20 home runs with at least 25 steals, which makes him a great bat for your fantasy teams. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago
       
    • On IL with thumb injury
      Lukes was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday with a thumb injury, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

      Advice: The severity of the injury is unclear, but Lukes will be sidelined for at least the next week after he suffered the injury this weekend. The 28-year-old has a .333/.406/.480 slash line through 44 games for Buffalo this season. Rotowire.com 43 minutes ago

      Max Kepler went 2-for-5 with a walk and an RBI in a win over the Pirates on Sunday.

      Advice: Kepler had two hits on the day but his two hardest-hit balls of the day were both 106 mph lineouts. The 31-year-old is now slashing .258/.322/.426 on the season with four home runs and 22 RBI in 46 games for the Twins this season. He will sit against left-handed pitching which can put a damper on his fantasy appeal, but he has enough of a five-category skill set to be rostered in all 15-team leagues and even some shallower ones.     • Jarred Kelenic has two hits, HR in loss
      Jarred Kelenic went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in a loss to the Nationals on Sunday.

      Advice: Kelenic was in the starting lineup on Sunday despite the Nationals starting a left-hander, and he has emerged into a full-time role with Ronald Acuna Jr. out. The home run was a no-doubter that traveled 413 feet at 107.8 mph. It was just his fourth of the season and now gives him 15 RBI to go along with a solid .265/.304/.417 slash line. You’re not likely to get consistent production from Kelenic, but he has gone 6-for-20 to start the month of June with five strikeouts in six games. If you’re in deeper formats and need a player who will be in a good starting lineup most days, Kelenic can fill that void. Rotoworld Today, 2:11 pm
       
    • Ian Happ knocks in three, steals two bases in win
      Ian Happ delivered a three-run double, walked twice and stole two bases Sunday as the Cubs topped the Reds 4-2.

      Advice: It’s Happ’s 10th multi-RBI game of the year, which is kind of interesting because he has only 30 RBI total. Just four times in 61 games this year has he driven in a lone run. The two steals pushed his season total to five. It’s the third time in his career that he’s swiped two bases in a game. Rotoworld Today, 2:08 pm

    • Pete Crow-Armstrong goes 0-for-4 against Reds
      Pete Crow-Armstrong went 0-for-4 on Sunday and is 3-for-23 with no extra-base hits since being recalled May 30.

      Advice: The Cubs seem to want Crow-Armstrong up for the long haul this time around, but it might be that he’s still not quite ready. If he’s still slumping in a week, the team might decide to try something different. Rotoworld Today, 2:08 pm

      Cedric Mullins went 2-for-4 with a triple and a steal in a win over the Rays on Sunday.

      Advice: These were the first hits Mullins has had in June, now going 2-for-18 on the month. He does have 13 steals on the season now, so his speed remains fantasy-relevant. He has started the last three games for the Orioles as Austin Hays battles an injury, but Mullins has just four games during the week as Colton Cowser has been getting a chance to play center field more often. Mullins isn’t bringing much to the table aside from speed and with his playing time now coming into question, it’s hard to see holding onto him outside of the deepest formats.     • Arozarena has two hits, RBI in loss to BAL
      Randy Arozarena went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss to Baltimore on Sunday.

      Advice: The two hits are nice, and Arozarena now has five hits in his last six games; however, the 29-year-old had three batted balls on the day and none of them were hit harder than 85 mph. On the positive side, Arozarena is now 8-for-22 in June and is pulling the ball and hitting it on the line more while striking out just 11 percent of the time. He seems to be trading some power for contact and considering he’s still on pace to steal 20 or more bases, raising his batting average and increasing his stolen base opportunities would be welcome, even if it does come at the expense of some power.
