    • Out until at least Tuesday
Manager Alex Cora said Saturday that O'Neill (knee) will remain out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale with the White Sox, but the Red Sox remain hopeful to have him back in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener in Philadelphia following an off day Monday, the Associated Press reports. "If we can take advantage of the next three days and avoid the [injured list], that's what we're gonna do," Cora said.

Advice: After being on the IL previously with right knee inflammation, O'Neill was activated Wednesday. However, O'Neill made just three starts before he was removed in Friday's 7-2 loss to Chicago in the third inning, after he had tweaked his knee while tracking down a flyball the inning prior. Though the Red Sox are seemingly optimistic that O'Neill will steer clear of another IL stint, he'll still need to demonstrate enough progress coming out of Monday's off day for that to become a reality. Bobby Dalbec started in right field in place of O'Neill in Saturday's 6-1 loss and could be the main beneficiary if O'Neill continues to miss more time beyond Sunday. • Yordan Alvarez powers Astros to win over Angels
Yordan Alvarez went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer on Saturday, leading the Astros to a 6-1 victory over the Angels.

Advice: Alvarez is seeing the ball exceptionally well of late, slashing .367/.430/.633 with six homers and 15 RBI over his last 28 games to raise his batting average from .239 to .296 during that period. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar took Angels starter Tyler Anderson deep in the fifth inning for his 13th round-tripper of the season as part of an impressive three-hit performance. • Taylor Ward walks three times in loss to Astros
Taylor Ward walked three times on Saturday in the Angels’ loss to the Astros.

Advice: Ward has been at the epicenter of recent trade speculation leading up to next month’s All-Star break and figures to be on the move at some point with the Angels not really in contention this season. The 30-year-old outfielder, who holds a robust .770 OPS with 11 homers and two steals through 63 games this season, isn’t a free agent until 2027, so he’s going to require a considerable haul to pry him loose from Los Angeles. • Goes deep twice in loss
Judge went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs and a walk Saturday in a loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: It was a humbling game for the Yankees as a team, but Judge continued his offensive domination of the league, hitting a solo shot in each of the third and ninth innings. The slugger has reached base safely in 33 straight contests, hitting an even .400 (46-for-115) with 17 homers, 39 RBI, 37 runs, four stolen bases and a 32:33 BB:K over the jaw-dropping stretch. Judge leads the majors with 23 total long balls on the campaign and ranks second with 57 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:23 pm
    • Slugs homer in victory
Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk Saturday in an 11-3 win against the Yankees.

Advice: Hernandez produced just enough power to poke a solo shot to the right-field porch in the fifth inning, giving Los Angeles a 3-2 lead. The veteran utility man made his third straight start at third base, and he's notched an extra-base hit in each of those games, going 3-for-10 with two doubles and Saturday's homer along with three walks. Max Muncy (oblique) is on a slow ramp-up and figures to be out of action beyond next week, so Hernandez could be in for relatively consistent playing time in the short-term. • Clubs homer in loss
Carpenter went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Carpenter got the Cardinals back within a run with his seventh-inning blast, but they couldn't build on it. Both of his homers this season have come over his last nine games. The designated hitter is at a .200/.294/.317 slash line with five RBI, six runs scored, one double and no stolen bases through 68 plate appearances. Carpenter has seen steadier playing time at designated hitter with Alec Burleson filling in as an outfielder due to the absence of Lars Nootbaar (oblique). Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:11 pm
    • Grabs steal in loss
Adell went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Adell is now 0-for-11 with two walks over his last four games. Over a longer span, he's gone just 3-for-53 with two walks and 24 strikeouts across his last 16 contests, though that brutal slump hasn't prevented him from seeing consistent playing time in right field. The outfielder is at a poor .190/.254/.429 slash line with nine steals, 11 home runs, 27 RBI, 26 runs scored, five doubles and a triple over 56 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:02 pm

    • Enjoys massive day at dish
Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs, a walk, six RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-3 rout of the Yankees.

Advice: Hernandez got the scoring started Saturday with a solo shot to center field in the second inning. He added an RBI on a fielder's choice in the sixth before busting the game open for Los Angeles with a 424-foot grand slam in the eighth. Hernandez went just 2-for-16 over his first four games in June, but he's turned scorching hot since, going 7-for-13 with two homers and nine RBI across his past three contests. Hernandez is putting up big numbers in his first campaign with the Dodgers, slashing .262/.331/.500 with 15 homers, 47 RBI, 38 runs and four steals through 278 plate appearances. • Reaches 15-steal mark
Rengifo went 0-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Rengifo is one of 11 players to reach 15 steals so far this season, though he's also been caught five times. He's gone 0-for-8 over the last two games after opening June with a five-game hitting streak. The infielder is slashing .312/.361/.447 with four home runs, 18 RBI and 24 runs scored over 48 contests as one of the top hitters in the Angels' lineup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:59 pm
