    Myers allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

    Advice: Myers came into Saturday having given up one or zero runs in four straight starts, all of which ended with his name in the win column. The right-hander couldn't extend the win streak Saturday, but he still pitched pretty well to notch his fourth quality start of the campaign. June was a breakout month for Myers, who was actually optioned to Triple-A on the first day of the month following a poor start against the White Sox on May 31.   • Logs quality start in no-decision
    Steele allowed three runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out five batters over six innings in a no-decision against Milwaukee on Saturday.

    Advice: Steele gave up a pair of runs in the third inning and another in the fourth but finished his outing by retiring seven straight batters. The southpaw stuck around just long enough to notch his fifth straight quality start, though this was his least impressive appearance during that span.     Advice: The rookie right-hander exited the game after 79 pitches (50 strikes) in line for his fourth loss, despite the fact the Munoz allowed less than three runs for only the second time in his last six starts. A late rally by the Marlins took him off the hook, however. Munoz will take a 5.58 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 38:20 K:BB through 40.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the White Sox.     Graceffo allowed a run on three hits and two walks while striking out four over 4.1 innings of relief in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Reds.

    Advice: Graceffo was called on for mop-up duty after an unusually poor start from Sonny Gray and an ineffective relief appearance by John King. The Cardinals' bullpen has been leaned on heavily late, and Graceffo was called up Friday to provide length after working as a starter with Triple-A Memphis. He has a 3.84 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 70:29 K:BB over 75 innings with Memphis this year.     Advice: Hancock was removed from his last start for Tacoma with lower-back tightness but wasn't forced to miss a turn in the rotation. The 25-year-old was a candidate to be called up after Bryan Woo (hamstring) was placed on the IL, but the Mariners opted to recall Jhonathan Diaz instead. This outing ended a few impressive stretches for Lorenzen -- it was the first time in nine starts he's allowed more than three runs, and it was the first time in his last four appearances that he's issued multiple walks. Given his success this year, to the tune of a 3.40 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 58:35 K:BB over 82 innings across 14 starts, it's safe to assume this was just a poor start against a tough opponent.     Shohei Ohtani belted his 26th home run of the season on Saturday night, helping to power the Dodgers past the Giants in extra innings.

    Advice: The 29-year-old superstar victimized right-hander Spencer Howard in the third inning for his 412-foot (109.7 mph EV) solo shot that briefly gave the Dodgers a 2-1 advantage. He also drew a pair of walks and struck out twice in the contest, finishing the evening 1-for-4. One of those walks was intentional in the 11th inning, where he then raced around to score on a two-run double off the bat of Will Smith.     Advice: He gave up a couple of solo home runs, but Povich ended up earning his first career win after Heston Kjerstad put the Orioles ahead with a grand slam in the fifth inning. After allowing six runs in his debut, Povich has given up a total of six runs across his last four outings. He's at a decent 4.05 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP and 17:10 K:BB through 26.2 innings over five starts. The Orioles had discussed going to a six-man rotation before a rough stretch of pitching injuries in June, so it's unclear if Povich will stick around in the majors once Dean Kremer (triceps) returns from the injured list, which could happen next week.
