    • Jake Irvin allows two runs in six innings against Marlins
Jake Irvin allowed just two earned runs and punched out three batters against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: Irvin has pitched six innings in three of his past four starts and was able to limit runs unlike his last outing where he gave up six to the Dodgers. He hasn’t been able to get batters to strikeout as much as he was at the beginning of the season. He’s struck out just three batters in back-to-back starts after having at least four punch outs in every start previously. Fantasy managers should plan to start Irvin on a matchup-basis as he’s gotten rocked against the Phillies and Dodgers, but has been serviceable against lesser opponents. He’ll likely be on the bump again when the Nationals take on the Blue Jays this weekend. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

    • Getting first start in left field
Judge will start in left field and bat third in Monday's game in Baltimore.

Advice: Judge received some reps in left field during spring training, but this is the first time he's made a start at the position in a regular season game since 2016 when he was with Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes-Barre. He could see additional action in left field during the series against the Orioles while Alex Verdugo is on paternity leave. Trent Grisham is getting a rare start in center field Monday. • Gets rest Monday
Pham is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Pham will get a breather after he started all three games in center field against the Rays over the weekend after the White Sox selected his contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday. He batted out of the No. 2 spot in each of those contests, going 5-for-14 with three runs. Rafael Ortega will get the nod in center field Monday, but Pham should hold down a near-everyday role for a White Sox squad lacking in competent bats. Rotowire.com Today, 12:57 pm

    • Reaches 200 career homers
Alonso went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: His blast in the fifth inning off Sonny Gray capped the scoring for the Mets in an eventual 7-4 loss. It was Alonso's 200th career homer, putting him in very select company -- only Darryl Strawberry, David Wright and Mike Piazza have also reached that milestone in a Mets uniform. Alonso has played in every game this season for New York, slashing .248/.336/.505 over 27 contests with eight home runs, 14 RBI and 20 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 7:50 am

    • Excels versus Cubs
Houck didn't factor into the decision in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Cubs, allowing one run on four hits and zero walks while striking out nine over 6.2 innings.

Advice: Houck kept the Cubs off the scoreboard until Matt Mervis scratched an RBI-single off him with two outs in the seventh, which wound up being the last batter he faced. Sunday was already his third start this season with at least nine strikeouts and zero walks. The 28-year-old boasts a 1.60 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 41:5 K:BB in 39.1 innings and projects for a road start against the Twins his next time out. Rotowire.com Today, 6:52 am

    • Integral in win
Duran went 1-for-4 with a walk, triple and two RBI in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Duran tripled in two runs in the sixth inning then drew a leadoff walk in the bottom of the ninth before scoring the winning run on Tyler O'Neill's walk-off single. Duran has started all 29 games thus far, including 27 of them as the team's leadoff batter. He's second on the Red Sox with 17 runs and leads the club in triples with three. Because of Ceddanne Rafaela moving from center field to shortstop, Duran is locked in as Boston's starting center fielder. Rotowire.com Today, 5:47 am

    • Earns win despite shaky debut
Walker (1-0) picked up the win over the Padres on Sunday, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four over 6.1 innings.

Advice: The Padres piled on all six of their runs in just two innings. They got to Walker for three runs in the third with Fernando Tatis doubling home Jurickson Profar before coming home on a two-run blast from Jake Cronenworth. Walker was able to cruise into the seventh where he ran into more trouble, as the Padres added three more runs on a home run from Luis Campusano to make it a 7-6 game. His day would end there and he was able to squeak by with an ugly win. He'll look for some better results next time and is projected to take the mound next weekend against the Giants. • Clubs solo home run
Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Sunday's 3-2 in over the Mariners.

Advice: Walker got things started with a solo blast off Logan Gilbert in the second inning to knot the game up at 1-1. He later doubled in the fourth but was left stranded. The 33-year-old slugger has notched at least a hit in five straight games while homering twice and racking up five RBI over that span. For the year, he's slashing .271/.383/.439 with five homers, 18 RBI, 21 runs and an 18:31 BB:K in 128 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 2:49 am

    • Connects for third homer
Pena went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Pena had a productive weekend series in Mexico City, racking up a total of four runs scored in a pair of games. He also chipped in his third home run of the campaign Sunday, his first long ball since April 3. Pena has remained a subpar power contributor, though he also has four stolen bases and is hitting .321 across 115 plate appearances early this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:11 pm
