    • Royce Lewis (quad) ramping up activity
Royce Lewis (quad) progressed to on-field running on Tuesday at Target Field.

Advice: Lewis has plateaued a bit in his rehabilitation process, so it’s an encouraging sign that he’s expected to ramp-up his baserunning this week. The 24-year-old third baseman’s return timetable should come into cleared focus at some point later this week. He’s been out since Opening Day recovering from a severe right quad strain. • Byron Buxton (knee) nearing rehab assignment
Byron Buxton (knee) is close to starting a minor league rehab assignment.

Advice: Twins manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters Buxton will test out his right knee on Tuesday at Target Field before the club determines whether he’s ready to head out on a rehab assignment. The 30-year-old center fielder landed on the injured list back in early May with right knee inflammation and figures to be back before the end of the month. Rotoworld Today, 1:44 pm

    • Rehab games required
Buxton (knee) will play in some minor-league rehab games before being activated, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reported Tuesday.

Advice: It was previously thought that Buxton could've been activated Tuesday; however, he'll get some minor league at-bats before being reinstated. The rehab stint should be rather brief, so fantasy managers can expect Buxton to be back within the next week. Rotowire.com Today, 1:43 pm

    • Not in Tuesday's lineup
Moreno is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Reds.

Advice: Moreno finally clubbed his first home run of the season in Monday's win over Cincinnati, but he'll get a breather a day later. Tucker Barnhart will do the catching for Slade Cecconi. Rotowire.com Today, 1:30 pm

    • Sitting versus southpaw
Julien is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: With left-handed Carlos Rodon toeing the rubber for the Yankees, the lefty-swinging Julien will yield to Kyle Farmer at second base. Julien has made just two starts versus southpaws this season. Rotowire.com Today, 12:12 pm

    • Homer, three walks in win
Moreno went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, three walks and two total runs scored in Monday's 6-5 win over the Reds.

Advice: The homer was Moreno's first of the year, and this was the second game of the season in which he had multiple walks. He's gotten off to a slow start with the bat, hitting .248 through 33 contests, but he's made up for it with a 12.8 percent walk rate, easily the best of his career. Moreno has added 16 RBI, 12 runs scored, six doubles and a triple through 117 plate appearances while serving as Arizona's primary catcher. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:26 pm

    • Gabriel Moreno homers, walks three times in win
Gabriel Moreno hit a solo homer and drew three walks in a victory over the Reds on Monday.

Advice: Moreno took Graham Ashcraft deep for his first homer of the 2024 campaign. The four-reach game helps improve his slash to .248/.350/.356. The on-base percentage is nice. Everything else leaves a lot to be desired — even as a catcher. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:04 pm

    • Ronald Acuña Jr. plates run in victory over Cubs
Ronald Acuña Jr. went 1-for-3 with an RBI on Monday, leading the Braves to a 2-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Acuña extended Atlanta’s lead with a sixth-inning RBI single off Cubs reliever Hayden Wesneski with two outs in the frame after being picked off first base on a pair of occasions by Chicago starter Shota Imanaga earlier in the contest. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar has gotten it going at the dish of late, batting .275 (11-for-40) with two homers and one steal in 10 games since the start of May. • Corbin Burnes hurls six frames in no-decision
Corbin Burnes allowed one run over six innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Burnes notched only two strikeouts and also issued a pair of walks. He generated only seven swinging strikes and finished with a pedestrian 29 percent CSW. It was his lowest single-start strikeout total of his Orioles debut, but he extended his streak of allowing three earned runs or fewer to an impressive nine consecutive outings. He’ll bring a sparkling 2.68 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 49/14 K/BB ratio across 53 2/3 innings (nine starts) into a home matchup on Sunday against the Mariners. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:07 pm
