    • Few concerns about slump
Olson hasn't hit a home run in 18 straight games, slashing .167/.291/.242 over that stretch with three doubles, one triple and seven RBI, but he remains among the league leaders in key hitting metrics, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Despite the first baseman's lack of production in April, Olson sits in the 97th percentile in hard-hit rate and average exit velocity on the season, numbers comparable to what he posted during his career-best 2023 campaign. It seems only a matter of time before the 30-year-old gets dialed in and begins racking up hits and homers. Rotowire.com Today, 7:04 am

    • Bounces back in second rehab outing
Duran (oblique) struck out two over a scoreless inning Saturday in his second rehab appearance with Triple-A St. Paul. averaged 101.8 miles per with his fastball while striking out two in a scoreless inning in his second rehab appearance with Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday.

Advice: In his first rehab appearance April 23, Duran allowed two runs on four hits and didn't have his typical velocity, but he looked more like his normal, dominant self Saturday. He averaged 101.8 miles per hour with his fastball Saturday and induced three swings and misses on the four splitters he threw. The Twins haven't announced when Duran will be activated from the 15-day injured list, but it could be any day now, and perhaps as soon as Monday, when the team begins a three-game series with the White Sox. Duran has been out all season with a right oblique strain. Rotowire.com Today, 6:21 am

    • Locks down save Sunday
Ginkel pitched a perfect ninth in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Mariners to earn his fifth save of the year. He struck out one.

Advice: Ginkel made quick work of the Mariners' hitters, needing only nine pitches to get three outs. He began by striking out Jorge Polanco and got the next two batters out on weak contact to shut the door. Ginkel has stepped up well in the closer role with Paul Sewald (oblique) on the mend, posting a 3.00 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 13:3 K:BB in 12 innings. Sewald recently suffered a minor setback in his recovery, meaning Ginkel will have the closer job for a little while longer. Rotowire.com Today, 3:00 am
    • Opens scoring with homer
Estrada went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Estrada opened the scoring when he took Jared Jones deep in the third inning. Estrada has gone 2-for-7 over two games since he recovered from a minor hamstring issue. The second baseman is slashing a modest .235/.255/.422 with four homers, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases through 28 contests. His power is in line with previous years, but Estrada logged 20-plus steals in both 2022 and 2023, so it's a little unusual to see him getting less involved on the basepaths. • Kevin Ginkel locks down fifth save on Sunday
Kevin Ginkel locked down his fifth save of the season on Sunday, working a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a one-run lead against the Mariners.

Advice: Ginkel made it look awfully easy in this one, getting Jorge Polanco on a called third strike, Ty France on a bouncer back to the mound and Mitch Garver on a fly ball to left to end it. He has done a nice job in the absence of closer Paul Sewald, compiling a 3.00 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and a 13/3 K/BB ratio over 12 innings while converting five of his first seven save chances. Sewald suffered a minor setback over the weekend, meaning Ginkel should continue to function in the team’s closer role for at least another week — possibly longer. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:12 pm
    • Quality start in loss
Littell (1-2) picked up a loss after he pitched six innings, giving up two runs on eight hits while striking out six batters in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Littell opened the game with three scoreless innings before Chicago scratched across a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth, including an RBI single by Danny Mendick, which gave the White Sox a 2-1 lead. Littell was able to return to form and pitch two more scoreless frames before exiting after the sixth, securing his first quality start since March 30. The 28-year-old will carry a 3.27 ERA into his next projected start Saturday at home versus the Mets. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:01 pm

    • Ozzie Albies has two hits in win over Guardians
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Albies’ double was a well-hit 321-foot shot at 96 mph off the bat, and it’s good to see him making authoritative contact so soon since being activated off the IL. He now has a .329/.393/.513 slash line and should be back to being locked into all lineups. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:03 pm

    • Zack Littell solid in loss to White Sox
Zack Littell pitched six innings of two-run ball in a loss to the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Littell has a 3.27 ERA and a 35/5 K/BB ratio after six starts, but he’s just 1-2 and the Rays are 2-4 in his outings. He’ll get the Mets next time out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:02 pm

    • Paul Sewald scheduled to throw bullpen Wednesday
Paul Sewald (oblique) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday.

Advice: The Diamondbacks announced on Saturday that Sewald was having his rehab slowed a bit due to renewed soreness, but it sounds like it’s only a minor issue. He’s still probably going to need another appearance or two in rehab games before he’s cleared to return, but it’s not all doom and gloom for the Diamondbacks’ closer. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:41 pm
