      Advice: Joe has now started the last three games and five of the last six. He most often plays against lefties but gets the occasional start against righties as well. The 31-year-old is hitting .290/.372/.460 on the season with three home runs, 14 RBI, and two steals. With the Pirates set to face three lefties this week, Joe could see some more at-bats than usual.       Advice: Estrada gave the Giants some late life with a two-run blast in the seventh off Taijuan Walker, which ultimately knocked him from the game. The 28-year-old is riding a five-game hit streak and has six RBI over his last four games.       Melendez went 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Rangers.

      Advice: This was Melendez's first multi-hit effort since April 19 -- he went 2-for-36 over the previous 12 contests. The 25-year-old started the year hot, batting .325 over his first 12 games, but he's since returned to his career norms. He's slashing a poor .186/.252/.363 with four home runs, two steals, 12 RBI, nine runs scored and six doubles over 111 plate appearances. Despite the poor batting, Melendez is still seeing a majority of the playing time in left field, keeping Nelson Velazquez at designated hitter and Dairon Blanco on the bench.       Caballero went 0-for-2 with three walks, three runs scored and four stolen bases during Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Mets.

      Advice: Despite not tallying a hit, Caballero was all over the basepaths, reaching thrice via walk and becoming the third player since 2020 to accumulate four steals in a game. One of those swipes came in the 10th inning when he stole third after beginning the frame as the designated runner. He then scored on a walk-off triple by Jonny DeLuca.       Jose Caballero stole four bases and scored three runs without recording a hit Sunday against the Mets.

      Advice: Only against the Mets. Caballero walked three times today and also got a steal as the automatic runner in the 10th inning. He’s just the second player this millennium to steal four bases without getting a hit; Everth Cabrera did so for the Padres in 2012. Caballero leads the AL with 13 steals in 18 tries this season.       Marte went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's loss to the Rays.

      Advice: Marte drove in the Mets' only run of the game with an RBI single following a leadoff double from Brandon Nimmo in the top of the first inning. The right fielder added another single and a walk in the contest while also swiping his seventh bag of the season. Marte has struggled a bit at the plate as of late and is batting just .188 (3-for-16) in May. However, he's also tallied multiple hits in five of his last 11 games.       Advice: The Rangers pounded Kansas City pitching for 17 hits in the win, and Lowe was a big contributor from the No. 3 slot in the lineup with a season-high four base knocks. The first baseman began the campaign on the injured list due to a right oblique strain, but he's slid into Texas' offense comfortably since returning, reaching base safely via hit or walk in all but one of his 13 contests.
