Bryce Harper suffers left hamstring injury in loss
Bryce Harper suffered a left hamstring injury during Thursday’s loss to the Marlins.
Advice: Not good. Harper suffered the apparent injury during the ninth inning of Thursday’s loss while attempting to beat out an infield grounder on the final play of the contest. The 31-year-old slugger, who crushed an RBI double off the base of the center-field wall in the opening frame against Marlins southpaw Trevor Rogers for his 1,000th career hit, will undergo additional testing to determine the severity of the injury. There should be an update on his status prior to Friday’s showdown.
