    • Michael Busch hits walk-off homer vs. Padres
      Michael Busch went 2-for-4 with a walk-off homer in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

      Advice: The Cubs held a 1-0 lead throughout most of this one, but a two-run homer by Jurickson Profar in the eighth gave the Padres the 2-1 advantage and put Shota Imanaga on the hook for his first loss of the season. Fortunately for Imanaga, a sacrifice fly by Christopher Morel in the bottom of the eighth inning put the Cubs in position to win it in the final frame. Busch made short work of the opportunity, hitting a leadoff homer to right off the first pitch of the inning from Enyel De Los Santos to give the Cubs the 3-2 win.       Randy Arozarena swatted a two-run homer on Tuesday in the Rays’ win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Arozarena lifted a no-doubter to left field off White Sox starter Michael Soroka in the third inning for his sixth big fly of the season. The 29-year-old fantasy stalwart got off to a painfully-slow start at the outset of the year, but has turned it on of late, homering three times in his last five contests since May 3.       Advice: Campusano will hand over catching duties to Kyle Higashioka for the second time in the last three days. After enduring a 1-for-13 (.076) stretch at the plate, Campusano has rebounded with hits in three straight games, tallying five RBI and a pair of runs scored in that stretch.       Reds activated OF TJ Friedl from the 10-day injured list.

      Advice: Fantasy managers that held onto Friedl, today is the day. The 28-year-old, who had a breakout season last year with 18 homers and 66 RBI while slashing .279/.352/.467, returns to the Reds’ lineup after being on the injured list since the start of the season. He’ll be a major plus to the Reds’ offense and fantasy managers who have him rostered, but expectations may want to be simmered for at least the first few days as he gets back to major-league speed.       Advice: Friedl has been cleared for big-league action after missing the first month and change of the 2024 campaign with a fractured right wrist. His reinstatement aligns with the start of a three-game homestand against the Diamondbacks, where he'll likely replace Stuart Fairchild as the Reds' primary center fielder versus right-handed pitching.       Rays send RHP Pete Fairbanks (nerve issue) on a rehab assignment to Triple-A Durham.

      Advice: Fairbanks has been sidelined since April 22 after he was placed on the injured list due to a nerve-related condition. He’ll get his first rehab start in Durham since being sidelined and if everything goes to plan, the 30-year-old hurler should be back with Tampa Bay in the next week or so.       Advice: The Rangers were still scoreless until Seager took Lucas Erceg deep in the eighth. They then added an insurance run in the ninth. The homer was Seager’s third in 33 games this season.     • Turns tide with three-run homer
      Seager went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run Monday in a 4-2 victory against Oakland.

      Advice: Texas was down 2-0 heading into the eighth frame before Seager turned the team's fortunes around with a two-out, three-run blast to center field. It was a much-needed big moment for the star shortstop, as he came into the contest batting just .190 in May and .228 overall on the season. After slugging 33 homers and driving in 96 runs last year, Seager has just three homers and 13 RBI through 33 games in 2024.
