    • Vinnie Pasquantino collects three hits, three RBI
Vinnie Pasquantino finished 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI versus the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: It seems like it’s too often been a two-man offense for the Royals, but Pasquantino will pick it up. He crushed the ball tonight, hitting four balls over 100 mph. Three of them checked in at 107-108 mph. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago
    • Justin Verlander hit hard in loss to Yankees
Justin Verlander allowed seven run on eight hits over five innings in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Verlander also walked three, struck out just two, and gave up three home runs on the day. The 41-year-old simply didn’t have it on Tuesday, allowing a three-run homer to light-hitting Alex Verdugo in the first inning. He allowed a run in four of his five innings on the day and posted just an 11 percent whiff rate and 20 percent CSW. His ERA is now 4.43 on the season and he has 16 strikeouts and 10 walks in 22 1/3 innings on the season. It has not been a particularly effective start, but he should have a much easier time against the Athletics next week. Rotoworld 56 minutes ago
    • Isaac Paredes posts three hits, homers in win
Isaac Paredes went 3-for-4 with a solo homer on Tuesday, leading the Rays to a 5-1 victory over the White Sox.

Advice: Paredes ripped an absolute moonshot to left field in the sixth inning off Chicago reliever Brad Keller for his eighth round-tripper of the season. It was the first time he’s gone deep since April 28. The 25-year-old pull-happy slugger has been a four-category fantasy monster this season with a .299 batting average through 34 contests. • Receiving Tuesday off
Raliegh is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Raleigh started the previous four games and will receive a day off after going 2-for-15 with two homers during that stretch. Seby Zavala will take over behind the plate and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 3:12 pm

    • Takes loss despite quality start
Flaherty (0-2) took the loss Monday against Cleveland, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Flaherty struggled with the Guardians' power, yielding three extra-base hits, including a solo homer in the sixth frame to Jose Ramirez. While the veteran righty has been an excellent source of strikeouts with 56 K's through 42 innings, he hasn't been as dominant in the run department but still owns a 3.86 ERA and has walked merely six batters. Flaherty will likely take the mound Sunday against the Astros for his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:11 pm
    • Jack Flaherty strikes out six, allows two runs vs. CLE
Jack Flaherty yielded two earned runs and struck out six batters in six innings on Monday in a loss against the Guardians.

Advice: It would’ve been nonsense to think Flaherty could match his last outing of 14 punch outs, but the 28-year-old pitched well against the Guardians and now has six or more strikeouts in five straight starts. The right-hander allowed his first of two runs in the first inning off a single from Will Brennan. He didn’t allow another run until his last inning when JosĂ© RamĂrez took him deep in the sixth. Flaherty’s next start will be at home against the Astros. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:40 pm
    • Gets stitches removed
Alvarez had the stitches removed Monday from his surgically repaired left thumb, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Alvarez underwent surgery April 23 to address a torn UCL in the thumb on his glove hand. At the time his surgery was performed, the Mets estimated that Alvarez would need eight weeks to make a full recovery, so he appears unlikely to return from the injured list until around late June. A more precise target date for his return should come into focus once he resumes taking batting practice and performing defensive drills. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:56 pm

    • Francisco Alvarez has stitches removed from thumb
Francisco Alvarez had the stitches from his surgically repaired left thumb removed Monday.

Advice: Alvarez is currently with the Mets to take part in the pitcher/catcher meetings according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. The backstop is two weeks into what is expected to be a two-month rehab after undergoing surgery to repair a torn UCL in his left thumb. If all continues to trend well, Alvarez could be back with the Mets around the All-Star break. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:50 pm

    • Manny Machado gets day off Monday vs. Cubs
Manny Machado is not in the lineup for Monday’s game against the Cubs.

Advice: Machado gets a rare day off after starting the last nine games for the Padres. He’ll get a breather with Donovan Solano getting the start at third while hitting sixth against Justin Steele and the Cubbies. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:46 pm
