      Advice: It took the Guardians' offense until the eighth inning to get on the board, but they took full control after that. Gaddis took three straight blown saves to close out April, but he's rebounded with 5.2 scoreless innings to begin May. The right-hander has added eight holds, a 2.18 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 19:4 K:BB through 20.2 innings this season as a key part of the bridge to closer Emmanuel Clase.       Singer (3-2) took the loss against Seattle on Monday, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out six batters over five innings.

      Advice: Singer came into Monday having allowed exactly one run in three straight starts, but he couldn't keep that momentum going. The right-hander yielded four runs across the second and third frames, marking just the second time this season he's given up that many runs over an entire game.       Brady Singer was charged for four runs over five innings while picking up a loss Monday to the Mariners.

      Advice: Singer was in constant trouble Monday, as he allowed nine hits with one walk against six strikeouts. He gave up a long homer to Luke Raley in the second, and two more runs were surrendered by the right-hander in the third. Singer has been solid for the overwhelming majority of 2024, but this wasn’t his night. A good chance to rebound comes Sunday against the Athletics, assuming the rotation order doesn’t change.       Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Monday that it's "possible" that Rodriguez (shoulder) will return from the 15-day injured list to make a start this weekend against the Mariners, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

      Advice: Rodriguez got through a 30-pitch bullpen session Sunday with no issues and felt fine the day after. The right-hander will throw another bullpen session in the coming days, but his next step beyond that hasn't yet been determined.       The Mariners list Woo (forearm) as their probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Royals in Seattle.

      Advice: Woo missed the first six weeks of the regular season with right elbow inflammation before returning from the 15-day injured list Friday after a trio of successful rehab starts. The right-hander was cruising through his first start of the season with the Mariners in Friday's 8-1 win over the Athletics, but he was lifted after 4.1 scoreless innings and 62 pitches upon experiencing forearm tightness. Though the fact that Woo is dealing with an injury that's seemingly related to the one that kept him on the shelf earlier this season isn't ideal, manager Scott Servais downplayed concern about the forearm issue after the game. The Mariners are still seemingly anticipating that Woo will be ready to go for his next turn through the rotation Wednesday, though fantasy managers will still want to keep tabs on his status leading up to the day of the game just to ensure the team hasn't scratched him from the start.       Rodriguez (shoulder) tossed a 30-pitch bullpen session Sunday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Rodriguez said that he felt good following the workout, but he acknowledged that he didn't know whether he would be cleared to face hitters the next time he throws, or if he would continue the ramp-up process with another bullpen session. After being placed on the 15-day injured list May 1 with shoulder inflammation, Rodriguez is eligible for activation Wednesday, but he looks like he'll need at least a little time beyond that before he's ready to rejoin the Baltimore rotation.       Ober (4-1) earned the win after he pitched 6.1 scoreless innings, allowing one hit while striking out 10 batters in Sunday's 5-1 victory over Toronto.

      Advice: Ober was nearly perfect Sunday, allowing just a single to Vladimir Guerrero in the bottom of the fourth inning, while his 10 punchouts were a season high. The right-hander has now recorded four quality starts over eight outings this season. Since allowing eight runs against the Royals in his season debut, Ober has produced a 2.16 ERA with 44 strikeouts over 41.2 innings in his last seven starts.       Bailey Ober pitched one-hit ball for 6 1/3 scoreless innings and struck out 10 as the Twins defeated the Blue Jays 5-1 on Sunday.

      Advice: It’s his second career 10-strikeout game, with the other coming against the White Sox in Sept. 2022. Ober opened this season with the very worst outing of his career, but since that eight-run barrage, he has a 2.16 ERA and a 44/7 K/BB ratio in 41 2/3 innings.       Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session before Sunday’s game against the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Rodriguez told reporters after the session that he felt good, but he was unsure what the next step would be. The 24-year-old doesn’t believe he needs a rehab start, but Baltimore may choose to give him one before activating him off the injured list.
