Burleson went 2-for-4 with two RBI singles, a run scored and two stolen bases during Sunday's 5-3 win over the Giants.

Advice: Burleson generated multiple hits for the third consecutive contest, building on a two-homer effort Saturday with a pair of RBI on Sunday. After stealing just two bases in his first 67 games, Burleson has swiped three in the past two contests and took second base on both of his hits. The outfielder is 24-for-83 (.289) in June and ranks in the top 10 in MLB in both runs scored and homers during the month. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:49 pm
    • Perfect for 26th save
Helsley picked up the save Sunday against San Francisco, striking out two batters during a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Helsley has two more saves than any other closer and is now 26-for-27 on save chances this season. While he's been able to dodge blown saves, Helsley has had to work through plenty of trouble lately, allowing multiple baserunners in seven of his last 12 appearances. Still, the 29-year-old holds a 2.38 ERA and a 40:13 K:BB across 34.0 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:48 pm
    • Notches 24th save
Clase pitched a scoreless inning, allowing a hit and walk while striking out a batter on his way to a save in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Clase was called upon to protect a 6-5 lead in the top of the ninth inning, working around a pair of baserunners for his 24th save of the season. The right-hander is as elite as it gets at closer, going 24-for-27 on save opportunities in 2024, while he has now converted his last 11 chances. On the season, Clase owns a microscopic 0.72 ERA and 0.64 WHIP with 38 strikeouts over 37.1 innings in 38 appearances out of Cleveland's bullpen. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:01 pm
    • Shelled by Tigers
Cannon (1-2) was tagged with the loss after he pitched one inning, giving up eight runs (five earned) on seven hits while striking out one batter in Sunday's 11-2 defeat to the Tigers.

Advice: Cannon ran into trouble early Sunday, surrendering five runs in the first inning while serving up two home runs. He returned to the mound for the second frame, allowing three straight singles before being pulled from the contest. Cannon's performance against Detroit was quite the 180 degree shift from his last outing Tuesday versus the Astros, when he pitched 8.2 scoreless innings. On the season, Cannon now owns a 4.59 ERA and 1.41 WHIP with 29 strikeouts over 33.1 innings in seven appearances, including six starts, with the White Sox. With Mike Clevinger (elbow) nearing a return from the 15-day injured list, it's unclear if Cannon will get another turn in the rotation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:07 pm
    • Miguel Andujar collects two hits in loss Sunday
Miguel Andujar went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles as the Athletics were shut out by Pablo Lopez and the Twins on Sunday afternoon in Oakland.

Advice: As a team, the A’s totaled just three hits in the contest, so Andujar did most of the heavy lifting. He singled to left off of Lopez in the seventh inning, then added an infield single off of Griffin Jax with two outs in the ninth inning that momentarily extended the game. Andujar has done a nice job for the A’s this season — slashing .324/.339/.419 with two homers, 14 RBI and one stolen base through his first 109 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:11 pm

    • Ryan Helsley records league-leading 26th save
Ryan Helsley threw a shutout ninth inning to preserve a 5-3 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: The right-hander didn’t allow a hit while striking out two batters. The effort gave Helsley his league-leading 26th save to go along with a solid 2.81 ERA. He has been one of the best draft day values among relievers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:20 pm
    • Alec Burleson has two hits, two SB in win
Alec Burleson went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two steals in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Burleson had an RBI single in the first inning and then another RBI single in the second to give him 32 RBI on the season. The two swipes also gave him five on the year to go along with a .385/.319/.469 slash line. He hits near the top of the lineup pretty much every day and needs to be rostered in more leagues. • Emmanuel Clase grabs 24th save
Emmanuel Clase nailed down the save on Sunday against the Blue Jays after giving up a walk and a hit. He also struck out a batter.

Advice: Clase came in for his fourth outing in five days and earned yet another save. He’s allowed just three earned runs in 37 1/3 innings of work this season and his 24 saves trail only Ryan Helsley. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:35 pm
    • Jonathan Cannon eviscerated by Tigers
Jonathan Cannon allowed five earned runs in one-plus innings on Sunday against the Tigers. He struck out one batter and didn’t administer a walk.

Advice: Cannon got smoked just one start after his near complete game shutout against the Astros on Tuesday. There was a costly error by Paul DeJong and Jared Shuster promptly allowed a three-run homer to Riley Greene which charged two additional runs to Cannon, but he was not good when he was in there either. The Tigers were all over his sinker and sweeper as he left far too many in the heart of the zone. Cannon will have a chance to right the ship next week against the Rockies.
