      Jose Altuve went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base in a win over the A’s on Sunday.

      Advice: Not many people are talking about Altuve, but he’s having yet another solid year with a .296/.353/.468 triple slash to go along with nine home runs, 20 RBI, and eight steals.       Advice: Gorman's game is more power than speed, but he's done a little of both with three home runs and two steals over his last six contests. Those two thefts account for his season total. The second baseman is slashing .215/.308/.423 with eight homers, 21 RBI, 20 runs scored and seven doubles over 169 plate appearances on the year.       Altuve went 3-for-5 with one run scored in Friday's 6-3 win over the Athletics.

      Advice: Altuve went 0-for-9 over his previous two games, which marked the first time he'd been held hitless in consecutive contests all year. Friday's effort was his seventh three-hit effort of the campaign. The second baseman's consistency atop the Astros' order is impressive, though he hadn't produced a multi-hit effort since May 5.       Nolan Gorman hit a two-run homer after play resumed Wednesday as the Cardinals beat the Orioles 3-1 in Tuesday’s suspended game.

      Advice: Gorman also doubled in the Cardinals’ lone run before play was halted in a 1-1 game last night. The homer today came immediately came right after play resumed in the bottom of the sixth and made a winner of Lance Lynn, who pitched six innings of one-run ball last night. Gorman has four homers and 10 RBI in his last 11 games. His OPS has jumped from .575 to .724 during that span, and he should probably be picked up in leagues in which he was dropped.       Advice: Altuve led off the bottom of the first inning with a home run, his eighth of the season and first since April 28. He's hit a moderate slump in May, as he's hitting .243 with six RBI and nine runs scored across 17 games, though he has chipped in three stolen bases. Altuve has maintained a .854 OPS across the first 207 plate appearances of the campaign, so there's little reason for concern about his slightly slower stretch of production.       Advice: Gorman smashed a solo homer in the second inning of Kutter Crawford — the only run Crawford allowed in the outing — and he drove in his second run with a single in the eighth inning to give him 18 RBI and doubled the St. Louis lead to 4-2.
