    • Exits with calf injury
Neto was removed from Saturday's game against the Dodgers with left calf tightness.

Advice: Neto slid to field a ball at shortstop and fell back to the ground in pain after attempting to get up and throw the ball. Encouragingly, Neto was able to walk off the field unassisted and it's expected he'll be evaluated during Sunday's team day off. Luis Guillorme will slide to shortstop while Michael Stefanic enters at second base. Rotowire.com 18 minutes ago

    • Zach Neto diagnosed with left calf tightness
The Angels announced that Zach Neto was removed from Saturday’s contest due to tightness in his left calf.

Advice: The 23-year-old shortstop suffered the injury while making a sliding stop on a ground ball in the fourth inning on Saturday night. The severity of the injury — as well as how much time (if any) Neto may miss — remains unclear. Fantasy mangers who are counting on Neto for next week should be sure to have an alternative option at the ready in case Neto lands on the injured list. Rotoworld 21 minutes ago

    • Zach Neto leaves game with apparent leg injury
Zach Neto was pulled from Saturday night’s ballgame against the Dodgers due to an apparent leg injury.

Advice: Neto made a sliding stop deep in the hole in the fourth inning, but when he got up to throw it looked as though his leg gave out on him. The 23-year-old shortstop also fouled a ball off of his leg earlier in the contest. He’ll head for further evaluation to see exactly what’s going on there. Stay tuned as the Angels should have an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld 26 minutes ago

    • Removed from game
Bird was taken out of Saturday's game against the Nationals with a groin injury, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: Bird had allowed one run on two hits and a walk in one-third of the seventh inning but was checked out by trainers an removed from the contest after throwing a warm-up pitch during a review. While the severity of the groin injury is unclear, it's worth noting that his removal wasn't related to the elbow inflammation that sidelined him for almost a month. • Best game of season
McCormick went 3-for-3 with a pair of solo home runs, a stolen base and three total runs scored in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Orioles.

Advice: McCormick got a rare start versus a right-hander -- his second in the last three games -- and he made it count by taking Corbin Burnes deep in the fifth inning. All three of McCormick's homers this year have come within his last five games, and he's added six RBI and six runs scored in that span. Overall, he's posted a mediocre .225/.286/.358 slash line with 15 RBI, 15 runs scored and three stolen bases across 133 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago

    • Hits 10th homer
Schneider went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Schneider has gone 7-for-28 (.250) with three homers over his last eight games. He's usually hit leadoff this season, but he was dropped to sixth in the order Saturday, with Isiah Kiner-Falefa moving up to the top spot and slugging two homers of his own. Schneider's .227 batting average isn't great for a leadoff hitter, though his .319 on-base percentage is a bit more passable. He's added 10 homers, 35 RBI, 32 runs scored, three stolen bases and 15 doubles over 251 plate appearances. While he could ultimately stick lower in the order, Schneider's short-term playing time should be safe after Daulton Varsho left Saturday's contest with back soreness. • Two solo shots in loss
Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs and a hit-by-pitch in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Kiner-Falefa had not posted an extra-base hit over his previous 10 games, though he hit .281 (9-for-32) in that span. The 29-year-old also snapped a homer drought dating back to May 26. For the season, he's up to six homers in 75 contests, matching his total form 115 games a year ago. He's added a .281/.325/.408 slash line with 31 RBI, 22 runs scored and three stolen bases. He had exclusively hit in the bottom third of the order, but he was batting leadoff for Saturday's contest -- a move up the order would likely lead to better overall production if he can stay there. • Trent Grisham goes deep in victory over Braves
Trent Grisham went 1-for-2 with a solo homer as the Yankees triumphed over the Braves on Saturday evening.

Advice: Grisham entered the game as a pinch-hitter for Giancarlo Stanton in the sixth inning where he went down on strikes. He then swatted a 348-foot solo shot off of Jesse Chavez in the seventh that capped off the scoring in the ballgame. On the season, the 27-year-old outfielder is now hitting .111/.260/.302 with four homers and 10 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 7:31 pm

    • Swats homer in Saturday's win
Schneemann went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Schneemann has hit both of his homers this season over his last five games. The 26-year-old continues to find ways into the lineup -- he's hitting .297 with a .990 OPS over 45 plate appearances since he was called up June 2. He's primarily seen time in center field and at third base and shortstop, and his defensive versatility should help him continue to carve out decent playing time, though he's unlikely to get a majority of the reps at any one position.
