• Zack Littell strikes out six in win
Zack Littell allowed two runs on four hits in five innings in a win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

Advice: Littell also struck out six and walked one while registering 14 whiffs on 38 swings for a 37 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. His only mistake was on a two-run home run by Ty France in the fifth inning. That’s two straight solid starts for Littell, who has not pitched more than five innings since June 9th. He’ll take a 4.17 ERA into a start against the Royals next week. He can be started in most fantasy leagues for that one. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:35 pm

  • Bullpen session later this week
Hendriks (elbow) is slated to throw a bullpen session later this week, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Advice: It will be his first time throwing off a mound since he underwent Tommy John surgery in early August of last year. Hendriks is hoping to join the Red Sox' relief corps at some point during the final two months of this season, and while that's possible, the bigger-picture goal is having him healthy and ready to roll as a member of Boston's 2025 bullpen. • Lands on minor-league IL
Clarke was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Nashville on Monday with a toe injury, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Clarke began the season on the injured list after undergoing surgery in late March to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He joined Triple-A Nashville after being removed from the injured list May 15, and the 31-year-old right-hander was being stretched out as a possible starting option for the Brewers. Clarke has started in seven of nine games in the minors, holding a 1-0 record with a 3.46 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 21:6 K:BB over 26 innings. Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Monday that it isn't a season-ending injury for Clarke, but the exact timeline for the pitcher's return is still being determined. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:48 pm
  • Taylor Clarke (toe) goes on Triple-A injured list
Taylor Clarke has gone on the Triple-A injured list due to a toe injury.

Advice: Clarke spent most of 2021-23 as a major league reliever, but the Brewers reintroduced him to the rotation in Triple-A and would have considered him next time they needed an extra starter. He had a 3.46 ERA in 26 innings for Nashville since returning from knee surgery last month. Rotoworld Monday, 2:42 pm
